Hey guys, I love the idea of keeping our own collective group together. I have had the pleasure of leaving and hopefully sharing so many techniques and ideas with a lot of you. So here's my contribution.
In one of the places I manage we grow only Private Reserve OG, I finally got a Male plant of the PR OG and collected the pollen, this I crossed with one branch of the Candy dawg, one branch of the Colorado cookies, and one branch of the PR OG. I got about 20 seeds from each plant. I finally got some free time and decided to plant one of each at my house. they got planted in the cans on 8/13.
Fox farm soil, under Mars 600 watt LED in my kitchen closest.

Hi @thewanderer718.
Legal weed is still something we don't have in the Uk, so collectives or grow groups are something I don't know much about at all.
Is there a reason why that place only grows the one variety? Is that a rarity to do that or is something more common, as in most collectives focus on being known growing one kind really well rather than several not quite so well? Ooooh, I have so many questions lol.
Hey bro yes not too common this is one of the smaller places but the guy has been growing the same strand for about 5 years and really has it down to a science, the other two places I am involved with grow five or six different strands but I like the idea of doing one thing perfect instead of doing a few different
things halfway. I've also noticed that this guy sells out before his plants are even done because people know him from having that one incredible strand.

The really old seeds I had (non Vault supplied) never even cracked. Left them in pots for well over a week and nothing, so I took them out and planted 2x Phoenix Seeds Super Kush Auto's instead. I won 10 seeds from the Vault a while ago and knew they would sprout no problem.
Here they are at day 26 from breaking ground.

No nutes so far, any leaf curl is down to the leaves pressing against the sides of the cabinet. Doing a bit of light LST but not much.

Under 70w of samsung h-influx strips at the moment. I struggled with very little plant growth on previous grows, so took my lights up to @diyleduk who built them, and realised I was giving the plants FAR too much light when he put a light meter under them. They were getting levels that were well above optimal, and I was actually stunting them. Yields were ok but the plants were hiding from the lights rather than seeking light. Advised to only go to 90w during flower to be in the optimal 'zone'. I will see how it goes, but the plants look much happier to me already than previous grows did.

Thanks to the site update I can post pics from a mac again, woohoo!!

Two weeks of stretch later and my small cabinet is full. These girls like to stretch!!!
Day 42 and after LST, some stem bending, and a bit of pleading they have come to a halt. There is about 6" from the canopy to the lights, which are at the top of the cabinet. I have never had plants this big and bushy - Phoenix Seeds Super Kush Autos.
The lights are still at 70w, any higher wattage and I think I might get bleaching due to the short distance from the lights. I was told 90w at about a foot away was bang in the zone for optimum conditions, so guessing the readings are similar at a lower wattage but nearer.

I think Jack is back... unless someone uses his account... maybe Cameron. The Vault has been putting up seed contests though...seems like everyday. Have you seen them?
