That's what your plant should look like under the screen, anything you leave under the screen will only take energy away from the bud sites above the screen that are getting enough light to fully mature. So unless your scrogging for larf and popcorn buds, you need to clean up your under carriage

Ok sweet will trim everything under the screen thursday. I havent been home to see whats going on as of late.

Defoliation as well. Anything that didnt make it to the screen. Couple shoots and tonnes of leaves.15762897166242879634411365507395.jpg

Ive learned so much from this grow its incredible. Maybe scrogged her a little too long. Exactly 14 days. But we shall see.

It's a constant learning experience for me too. your scrog looks great, you'll probably end up with a bunch of hand grenade like colas, which is great. Short and dense, easy to trim and easy to cure.

Now just make sure your air flow in and around the plant is good, your plant's at the stage where all its energy goes to making big fat buds from all those flower sites. So now you gotta make sure the air flow is good so that you don't get any mold or bud rot, that's part of why you defoliate, so that air can move between and around the bud sites, keeping down the humidity in your canopy.

Looks great, can't wait to see the harvest

Should i move my lights down a bit? They are about 24 inches from the plant. There is a ton of airflow and a negative airpressure in my tent. That 6inch duct fan blasts i love it. Humidity is between 20 and 34%

I don't know LEDs, so I'd look at other LED grows or see what the manufacturer recommends. My hps is around 14 inches above my canopy, but its not the same thing, so I dunno :?:

I was just looking at some of your pics and didn't see a fan of any kind? I get what you said about your 6 inch pulling in air, but you need a constant breeze on the plant too, see my pics for an example. I'd put a rotating fan in one of the corners, makes for stronger branches too.

Added a bunch of RO now its at 311 ppm. Friday i will up the nutrients to 700ppm and watch closely what happens. It seems to eat 3/4 of the 5gal rez then the ppm spikes when it gets to the bottom. 20191216_194057.jpg

Looking really good mate.

Dint me aan to be nasty or me asn or anytjing but my 2 cents is u have done your scrog 100 percent correct looks really good.
You c asn get tgat light down to 400mm or 500mm try lowering a few 100mm every day when u see leaf burn or bleaching raise up a touch. But for me 400 mm with my hlg 550 is perrfect.

Had to do an emergency rez change 5 gallons gone. I have been letting the soup set before the rez change. This one i couldnt. I expect ppm to flux.
Nutrient bump to 800ppm ph 5.8.

changing my rez is a snap. It is so easy swap out buckets, take ph/ppm readings. Not to mention there is no airstone. Just a waterfall into the rez.Last time rez changes where such a pain in the ass. This way the roots just stay put and i never disturb the canopy. This method of growing is so low maintenance. The flora nova only has been awesome even though i doubted it. I didnt think
using one nute start to finish was going to produce. I feel stupid for falling into the trap of having a whole nutrient line up. I re read my thread from the start, such a noob i have learned so much since the start of all this. Anyway if your going to waterfarm, a small table, a bucket and pump will go a long way. The SCOTTYBALLS method has been interesting. you have to take everything you know and throw it out the window, and just trust that a little of one nutrient from one line, will do everything.

Raised my lights about 2" to 370ish mm. She drank and ate a lot. Funny there is a giant hole above where i topped it lol. Im going to bandage the split with gauze just in case. At least its breathable material instead of tape.

Nutes ppm may be due to not settling. Plant has drank half a bucket tho. Im going to scale back the nutes to 700 ppm next time for a bit. Im going to fill up the rez with RO and just inject 700ppm before I leave. Holidays start today merry xmas.

Had to do a rez change she drank half a bucket.
Ph 5.9 cause i missed

Riddle me this:

I have never been able to find the nute sweet spot.
I feed her 700-800 ppm. The water goes down slowly but steady drop in ppm, everything normal. But takes like 4 5 days to completely empty. The water reaches towards the end of the bucket , and ppm starts to go up. Not skyrocket, but up. 100ppm and its sudden. I cant accurately measure the water going down there is no tube on the side. I just lift the lid and look inside. I feed her 400 to 600 ppm and she drinks like a pig (me just adding water to finish up the containers). I understand the principal of wanting the water to go down and the nutes to stay relatively the same. I get all that. Is she starving for nutes when there is more water? Is that why she drinks watered down nutes faster? But why when i feed her a big meal she just sips it? Im scared to go forward anymore so i just stick with the less is more.
