I have decided to let this plant try to mature. I took a good look at the trichromes on the tops vs underneath. I think it just needs a week. I have researched harvesting half the plant, but the information is for Christmas tree style growing not scrog style. Again im kicking myself for not pruning earlier especially cause its off the nutes and i trimmed the majority of its stored food.

Found information today that white rhino finishes 9-10 weeks.

Been Harvesting my bitch in stages so trichs are mature top to bottom. Had a few problems with my grow, my trusty illumitek ballast died a few weeks ago and a 4 inch fan shit the bed as well, I'm going to rebuild and update my whole grow cab before I start the next grow.

Yours still looks great, a digital microscope is a must have to really get a good look at those trichs, I've got one as well. Do what jzs says and just keep an eye on em, she'll be ready when she's ready. Patience grasshopper

Nice!! Was wondering where you had been! I have never havested half plant. Do you just do the same ol same old, cut where its ripe then hang to dry? Are you dry trimming to prevent a quick dry? I dont think its ripe yet...just the breeder said 8 weeks and they LIED to me. Lol. I have religiously been looking at trichs. The tops have some time still.

I harvested 3 times so far 1st time, 2 days after that and then 5 days after the first trim, I still have a 1/4 plant to go, it's mostly the bottoms that I'm giving an extra 7-10 days to or whenever the trichs say she's done.

Dry trim and then into a hanging drying basket, everything that's trimmed is in 5 jars now, with the humidity in the jars running 64-70%

I'm in my cabinet a few times a day, so both the ballast and the fan were caught within hours. Finishing her using an old 250 watt magnetic ballast. So I'm gonna get either another HPS/MH or invest in a nice LED, haven't decided yet.

You have a nice Digital Microscope, watch the trichs and harvest when she's rdy, today I'm at 10 weeks flower with an 8 week strain, but I had issues

This plant....I have stared at her for 3+ months now....no end in sight. Trichromes are amber on some bud not on others. Its a fucking mess. At least the hi profile will be spread out lol. Im quickly coming to the conclusion, of half harvestisting this. I dont want to. I never have done that before. I wanted to hold huge colas. But na. What do you think? I think ive stared at too many trichromes. They all look the same.

Anyway i had my trouble light handy. So the lighting is a bit nicer.

Some amber there but that is very top of bud.

So because im goin to harvest half my plant, ive opted to use a dryer rack instead of hanging the plants obviously cause im going to just be harvesting the bud. Wednesday, i will harvest.

Looking fabulous . I trimmed my bitch in 4 stages over 2 weeks, makes drying and jarring a bit of a pain but I think it gives more consistent results. The digital microscope makes it possible to do it that way, on my plants I could see the tops were more mature then the middle or bottom, so I'd look at a budwith my scope, decide where to cut and let the rest keep maturing, just gotta watch to make sure you're not stressing her into dropping bananas.

Nobody knows your grow better then you, so make decisions based on what you see and think.

Quick update. Drying is shitty. I have cut 2 small branches just to test drying and they were crispy after 3 days..... RH here is like 20% so ive set up a humidifier stand alone unit, polyed off half my room, wired in a dehumidifer switch in seriers with the bathroom fan. Ive set the switch to come on at 60% and exaust. So far its working. I jarred the other bud, cut new branch. Will post pics

Update: got drying down. Harvest will be monday. Ill post oodles of pics then

Wow, that's very nice. Congrats! Just starting my first WF grow and can only hope to produce 1/8 of that.
