Maybe I should've added that I grow in a closet and have no way of keeping mother plants or cuttings. Once I finish a grow everything goes back into hiding. Was looking for a way to have seeds on hand instead of waiting around for them to be sent to me.
If you're growing in a closet your space and yields are limited. Seeding decreases your yields. You're better off buying new seeds IMO unless you just can't afford it.

hay sub im having yield problems i do DWC hydroponics.what strains are heavy feeders i do querkle and vortex i have only been gettn 2 to 3 zips a plant please help me sub.

2 - 3 zips isn't bad depending on the size of your plant.

How long are you vegging the plants for? What's your nutrient solution like? What nutes? PPM? What kind of lights? wattage? There are so many variables, you need to provide Sub (and everyone else) with more info. Of course they are just going to tell you to use super soil anyway. :)

Hmmmm... our SpaceDawg test is about to finish... wondering what to start my next grow journal on...

Dairy Queen
JC2
Pandora's Box
Qush

I have other TGA on deck but these 4 are the ones I am considering.
Yes, 1 more vote for JC2. I haven't found much about that myself, but it must be very good i'm asuming?

Especially grown and detailed by yourself. Your growlogs are probably some of the best i've seen.

Pross, there are other forum sections about breeding on this site. If you are dead set on making your own seeds, just try it out. Chuck some pollen and see what you get, just make sure not to seed your whole plant. Good luck man.......

thats about all your going to yield vegging for 4 weeks.. if u want more bud, incorporate longer veg periods. and maybe switch to super soil(u knew it was coming lol)

Longer veg, bigger pots, you don't mention if you are just growing main colas or creating bushes. Bushes with lots of branches trained properly tend to yield a LOT more unless you're doing SOG.

Weed nerds still chopin it up. Confidential Cheese test results: 6/26/12 23.5%thc 0.9%cbd 0.1%cbn 7/31/12 22.5%thc 1.1%cbd 1.9%cbn. Let's keep bringing the heat. Peace and prosperity.

Haha , we are just helpful people here just watching out for the fellow nerd.

You should make supersoil though....... life will be a much more happy and simple with this method:)
My motto has always been "Fuck soil". Can't stand it. Too dirty. Heh heh heh. I know most of y'all here do what Sub does (and for good reason.), but I have been running EF hydro for almost 20 years. I don't want to start over after taking the time to learn my system and dialing it in. I think I would try Kushman or Rize's veganics before super soil. Nothing against Sub, but if I am going to get all weird and go soil I might as well go whole hog and do veganics. :)

Plushberry is vegging like a champ in my ebb and flow tables with hydroton. There will be a couple going into flower with the next batch. I am anticipating mucho flavour and smell and I am really looking forward to her. Plushberry likes GH 3 part.

Veganics is no more "whole hog" than using supersoil. One uses animal fertilizers and one doesn't. With veganics you have to continuously add nutrients, which you don't have to do with supersoil. It's isn't better or superior because he doesn't use animal products, it's just different and he is trying to create a niche in the market. He also pushes certain brands of soil and nutrients and I'm sure he has a deal with those companies. Does it work? I'm sure it works great but it is in no way, superior or more advanced (whole hog) than using supersoil.
Also you don't have to "dial in" anything. Make the soil, put it in a pot with your plants; you're done. All you have to do now is water and watch beautiful plants grow. Doesn't get any easier or more whole hog than that.
