The Word has gotten out about my grow- how do I proceed?

tell ur friend that ur shit got trashed becuz too many people started hitting u up for weed so u had to give it up. just dont let that mofucka in ur house again if he cant keep his mouth shut. rule number 1. no more help than needed and the less people that know the better.

I live in a non medical state and there are several people who know I grow. The fact is it can be really hard to keep people from knowing especially when your broke for a month and then sudden have lot of killer buds for a while till your broke for a month again and oh you have no job etc... I would have looked at the people who were asking such question and said that I had no idea what they were talking about. I would have asked where they heard such a ridiculous rumor. Then I would tear the two "partners" a new asshole.

Aphrodite problem ;) more than 90% of people that get caught are caught by mates or aquaintances (opening their mouths by accident)massive problem especialy when your a uk dweller like me lol.very hard not to show off aswell when you kno you growin better than a lot of people.wish i could just get a card n be safe lol unfortunatly not the case here.just has to be done using pure stealth :)

would knock it on the head for a while, had friends jailed for this , people get jealous and talk too much. Not just the police you wanna worry about though, its the horrible bastards with baseball bats that come to take your crop and your money and theres fuck all you can do about it. good luck ,let me know what you done dude

My post is on this page for same reasons almost. (Neighbor smelled my grow)... long story short. Neighbors ALL know and gave me permission sort of speak. Couple days later one neighbor tried breaking into another unit. Must have thought it was mine.

UPDATE

I'll be moving my plants into a friends house shortly, he has a medical license. I'm letting him use my light/use my nutrients in return. He also has a few plants growing.

When you decide to do it in your own place again, legal or not, Get your own place and don't tell anyone. Obviously one of the original 2 that knew said something, or you did and are blaming it on them. Either way, set-up in your new pad and don't tell anyone. Peace!!

Two wrongs don't make a right. Why did you come on here and ask us what to do if your just gonna clue someone else in on something that you don't want clued in on? You just added another variable. Legal or not.

If it was for simple peace of mind, I can understand that, however, now the guy with the card has control of your situation. Another no no. Weather you trust the guy or not, two people just proved that their mouths won't stay shut for long so why go out and do the same thing?

I don't mean to sound rude or offensive, hopefully you don't take my comment as such, but.... you don't fix oops with the same oops.

Well, to be honest you don't know the people that I know, or my relationships with them. This is a close friend of mine who I smoke with all the time, he has been showing me his plants as they have progressed and I have even helped him prune them and such. I trust him.

I respect your opinion, but I am not concerned. We'll just have to see what happens I suppose.

Tell them you've decided not to go ahead with the grow because of the fact that Mr x and Mr y know... that will put the ball back in your buddys court and make him think twice about being a dick in future...

Already done, I'm telling them the police knocked on our door about the smell of weed or something. They'll buy it. And feel guilty probably.

Yea I've done this before.
I told the one guy I shouldn't have told, that I was visited by the Police because of a neighbors complaint. I couldn't figure out how any smell was getting out I swore I had everything sealed. I'm thinking he saw a light and called the cops on me just because of that. But regardless I said fuck it, I don't want to get into trouble. So, I shut her down. " He lost interest essentially after he knew he wasn't getting any more weed for free. I was bummed out for a while, or I used the incident as an excuse for anything I did, for a while. then let it go. After ask him to find you weed. And then tell him he should grow weed so you guys can have some to smoke.

Yeah he's still a good friend, I don't think he fully understood the repercussions that could occur from leaking such private info. Either way, he will know not to ever do that again.
