Thermoelectric wine cooler drying and curing - DIY

Thanks @mobilekasey , How much wet trim are you doing if its going straight in? Just larger fans? Or just buckin the nugs and throwing em in?
Doing a wet trim. Not perfect.. doing it right now and the more i do the rougher it gets ;) I had lost of issues throughout the grow.. first attempt at DWC. So she's pretty fluffy unfortunately. I'm about 1/3 done with the harvest.

Got everything running and loading her up today. Not sure if it's on here but I ended up not reinstalling the drip tray. Instead I had some quick connect tubing and forced some flexible tubing over that on the end and it ended up being a super tight fit. So that is now draining into a quart jar on the ground. Will share some pics this week.

Would def love pics of that. Mine is in a strange spot and kinda hard to get to the drip tray. Looking to export that water elsewhere.

A quick point of emphasis I would like to make is to make sure the fridge is level or slightly leaning back. I didn't catch it at first and was experiencing very high, sudden, and feequent humidity swings. Put my hand under the lowest rack and it was soaking wet, none of the moisture was getting to the drain hole. I have since shimmed the cooler to a slight lean back and everything has stabilized. 2 more weeks to go, hope I didn't ruin it.

I did a water test before my first load and saw that. Thought it was just the slant iny garage. I put a couple furniture leg pads under the front two legs and everything started to drain. Good call

Here you go. The white tubing came with my whole room dehumidifier. It's quick connect PVC I think but small. The clear came with one of my air pumps but always use black. Separate they are both too small. Force the flexible clear over the rigid white and the fit is perfect. I'm gonna pick up two quick connect elbows just to make sure it never gets crimped. Drilled a hole in a plastic quart jar lid and have it going in there. Once I'm comfortable I'll probably upgrade to a gallon.

Last question hopefully. What did you use as your initial settings with the ac infinity? I've never used one and not quite sure how to provid a range so it doesn't continuously click on and off.
I'm sorry this didn't notify me. I mean even though mine is curing now and it still turns on every minute. Until it completely stabilizes I think that's just what it'll do.

What did you guys do to get dehumidifier to drain In hole? Will be removing and running the wire outside, just trying to figure out how to position this to properly drain out the hole if need? Trying to brain storm but cominng up short lol.

also, what direction did you have the dehumidified air blowing?

There should be fins in the back that get cold with the bottom side angled. Position those down in the drain channel. You might also need to adjust the legs or prop them up so gravity ensues the water drains.

Yea, the way the drain channel is setup there is quite a dip right before the hole, I may need to find a tray of some sort. If you zoom in on the pics you can see it.
