I'm trying to stay around 4 or 500 bux. I was looking at Titan 6 cell ebb and Flo or the general hydroponics water farm 8 cell drip. Any advice or pros and cons of each, would be much appreciated...

I just did a RDWC run and now an ebb and flow grow back to back with the same strain. I found the E&F to be easier to maintain (my res is outside of the tent). My rez swap time went from over an hour with buckets, to under 15 minutes with the E&F.
From a yield perspective, I am a couple weeks from harvest on the E&F and it would really take a couple runs of both to get a true idea, but I like the lower maintenance enough to stick to the E&F.

buy 5 gallon buckets 2" pvc and 2" uniseals and make your own, so worth it imo. those systems are overpriced and won't perform the way a handbuilt undercurrent DWC system will. Check out my grow journal just built one and it is rocking!

Cool setups. Making your own is the way to go. I use a 3x3 flood table and use the top 7" or so off a 5 gal bucket w/lid to hold my 6" net cup... pretty much a bubble bucket but cut the bottom 2/3 off the bucket and slap the top 1/3, with lid and net cup, on a flood table. It leaves about an inch between the bottom of the net cup and the flood table and it also provides coverage/shelter for the roots, although they eventually grow out from under the buckets but by that time there's already plenty of foliage to block the light. I have to flood more often as there isn't much of a medium to hold moisture. But the more often the better IMO

diy custom built to your needs will be the best. A little trying at times but well worth the effort.

It all depends on your previous, if any, grow experience. If you're new to growing, I suggest going with soil as it's the most forgiving to a new grower's mistakes. Make a mistake in hydro and bad things can happen not to one plant, but all of them.
Soil is also easier to one's checkbook.
Many disagree, but I've found Craigslist a great place to buy grow equipment. I just picked up two 600w ballast for $40 a piece.
If you've got some grow experience, then by all means give hydro a go.

Thanks for the input, I been doing Dwc for about 10 years. I'm getting old and lazy I am looking for something low maitnence. Not as much lifting or bending over. I'm liking the 55 gal Rez on the ebb Flo systems.
