Thinking about switching nutes, whats my best bet?

I just did my first grow that will be finished in 1-2weeks.

I used biobizz full line with gold label soil but wasnt to happy with the results.

I understand that i cant just blame the nutes for my mediocre results but after reading it seems biobizz aint so hot.

I had alot of issues with yellow fan leaves from what i think is N def, i read that biobizz usually have this issue.

I now have 11 seedlings ready to put in my tent in a few weeks and im thinking about switching brands of nutes this time.

What is my best bet for getting a stable and healthy plant grow with fat tasty buds.

experience....... But heres a cheap easy way to go imo

botonicare "liquid karma" "cns17 grow, bloom and ripe" then for a bloom booster go with GH koolbloom powder. Not overly complicated and works well.

Yeah maybe im overcomplicating it a bit.

Like i said my issues were in late veg/early flower.
After that they have been looking good.

Maybe i should just get something to add some extra N and Mg in the veg phase and hope my next run will yield more.

if you are looking for something really simple then go with advanced nutrients sensi grow & bloom. the key is to learn how to grow your plants as best you can with your base nutes. then when you have that formula down you can start testing additives. sometimes it's hard to be patient but take 2-3 grows and really dial your plants in as much as you can with just a simple 2 part veg and bloom system. the 2 parts allows you a little more control over exactly what your plants are getting. if you see a deficiency you can add more of one part than the other. or you can add some veg nutes to your bloom cycle. once you get that dialed in then you can really start to tweak it with 2-3 additives.

I prefer advanced to any other lineup just because they are moderately priced and provide the full spectrum of macro and micro nutrients and I've grown quality plants just using them. I do use a few additives now but with just the base nutes you should be fine. you can get a gallon of grow and bloom; part a&b of both for around $110. the nutrient is very strong so go easy on it. that may seem expensive but when you factor in the potency it's actually very cheap. that will last you several grows which is what it should take for you to dial it in.

good luck.

1st, im not an AN hater. I used An's big bud for this grow but thats it. They honestly have TOOOOOOOO many products. Why should you have 14 bottles and measure each dose from them for watering.
Just saying that its a lot for a WEED, that will grow by itself w just water.
I just picked up some CNS17 grow. It has calcium in it so no need for calmag, just some epsoms for mag. I believe its three parts to it. Grow, Ripe and bloom. Pretty simple. Of course you can use supplements, but they seem to keep their system simple. Its also pretty decent of a price. To me, AN is just too complicated and a little overpriced. i.e. Use this week 2-4 then this week 5-7 then this 8-flush and also use this the whole grow etc etc. Making something simple complicated.

I saw the price on that biobuzz at the store and cringed lol.

advanced does have a lot of additives but most of them are for different scenarios. check out house and garden, fox farms, and botanicare. they all have around the same amount of additives. you aren't supposed to buy all the additives. they are there to give you a choice depending on your strain, environment, and growing level.

like I said...try the base nutes first. doesn't have to advanced. could be anyone of the higher end companies. although advanced does have the best tech support.

I guess i will complete this second grow with the biobizz line.

I have these products from them:

Biogrow

Bio bloom

Top max

Bio heaven

Root juice.

Any ideas on anything i could add late veg to avoid any nute def.

that's looks like plenty to start with. I don't know the lineup but try running your grow nutes for the first 2 weeks of flower and then find the nutrient highest in nitrogen (probably the biogrow) and add a small amount to all of your mixes throughout flower. I think you might see a noticeable difference.

exactly cns17 3 part nute with liquid karma (optional) and kool bloom and you got a budget growing machine :D It's what i used for awhile now do more but for begginners its great combo that wont break the bank!

Ok so i will give biobizz another shot, still have alot of biogrow and bloom left and more than half of the heaven and top max.

Any idea if it would work to mix some coco coir in my soil for the next run and would i gain something by putting some additives like bar guano, epsom salts , blood meal etc?
