not to be an ass, but what about panda plastic? i wonder whether the reflectivity of the white side would be similar to the white paint?

Probably a long shot....but I'd love to see fiberglass reinforced wall paneling tested. I'd really like to use it in my new cab but am unsure of it's reflective qualities.

It's a thin panel made of some sort of fiberglass reinforced plastic composite. It's tough as nails, waterproof, easy to clean, mildly flexible in long sections, and looks nice. I see it a lot in restaurant kitchens, veterinarian offices, bar bathrooms, etc. I once used it to line the bottoms of kitchen cabinets. It's available in 4x8 sheets at Lowes/HD.

I have some scrap and could send a sample my mail [shrug]. Although I fully understand the security/anonymity complications that probably brings about.

i know the stuff. maybe i could do a little damage at home depot. break me off a corner. i like your thinking. if it works it would make for some easy growbox building. build a little frame and slap that around it. done. cool idea.

So... what? You don't want to continue the tests to, maybe, demonstrate Al foil is easily a close second to some thick aluminized Mylar?

That the findings would be.. how you say here in RIU-speak... a.. faux pas?
