I’m definitely not a poser, what would I be posing to do? Smoke weed? Obviously I freely Admitted I don’t so your premise is dumb but maybe that’s because you smoke weed? Anyway, there is definitely a perspective I lack Because I don’t smoke which is why I’m on here. I’ve invested tens of thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours trying to get up to speed all for the satisfaction of growing the best flower I can. Why? I like The challenge and I like Helping people that need my weed...Next Question. I’ll bet you’re a millennial from Seattle?

I always do partial harvest. I don't defoliate as aggressively as many others do. I cut down everything's mature and flower the rest for another 2-3 weeks. You don't harvest unripe tomatoes, Cannabis is not different in this regard.

Only time I defoliate aggressively is when I run scrog net. Cheers!

Thank you for taking the time to respond. When you have a plant that has been topped and technique’d to fit a scrog net, with 50 colas or whatever, do you have to feed it anymore to supply all those colas? Is there a ceiling on what could be possible if no limiting factors like time, space, etc.?

There's many factors regulating this. But overall a bigger plant need more nutrients to grow. But you also have to count in the method (hydro, soil etc) being used to know the feeding frequency.

In hydro for example you may not need to go as high as in containers because your constantly feeding the plant in a homogenous environment with nutrients, water and oxygen constantly being replenished.

Then you have phytohormones like Triacontanol. The nutrient requirements decrease about 20% with the use of TRIA because of its ability to speed up nitrogen retention, metabolism, photosynthesis and photothropism.

Then you have "descaler" agents like drip clean from house&garden and surfactants like Pro-tekt (potassium silicate) which also make the nutrients more available in the solution.
