Question: Hows the smell? i understanding she will start to be pungent about now

yeah shes starting to get there... not alot of smell with this one... think its just the strain... cause almost every plant ive grown up till this point has stunk to high heaven... shes starting to get there... cant touch her without my fingers smelling...

ok... i dont trust the plant food spikes so ive gone without nutes until i can get something better for her... but here she is today.

Day 42... 12 days into flowering... shes looking good to me...

what do u guys think?

she seems to be doing really well except i am having a problem with my lower leaves again... i havnt given her any nutes since the last time... cause i dont trust the plant food spikes i have... but the lower leaves and little branch leaves are turning yellow again...
dont know what the problem is ... any ideas? shes only 2 weeks into flowering... so it shouldnt be yellowing this early on its own should it?

i am gonna try to get to the store to get some food... but i dont know what to get... and i dont know if thats what she needs... gotta get a better fan system too... i think its getting a little hot in there...

shes looking a little rough... bottom fan leaves are really bad... almost fully yellow and what looks to me like burning... some of the smaller lower branches are starting to turn too...

i havnt fed her anything in about a week cause of those stupid spikes... but i need to know what u guys think she needs cause i dont wanna go through all this trouble and have her die in the last few weeks... that would really suck!!!

well... those two fan leaves have withered and fallen off and the few small branch leaves have done the same.. i have a few small leaves that are looking a little pale, but ok... a couple of them are looking like a very small amount of burn on the tips... but otherwise ok...

not sure what the problem was (or still is im not sure yet... ) but i seem to have it under control for now.. just what looks like normal cycle stuff now... i will try to get some pics up later ... along with whatever info i can for everyone.. ph, temp, humidity... what is recommended for nutes right now... anyone??? 2 1/2 weeks into flowering...

i put a small thermometer and hygrometer in the room and here are the numbers...

temps are around 83-85 during day and 25-27 @ night... humidity is about 55-57% i know it should be higher, i'm trying to get it there... still dont know what the ph is... cant find anywhere to get a meter here...

leaves are doing ok.. still just a slight bit of yellowing at some tips, but nothing too bad... i also trimmed off the bottom two branches as the buds were very small and would have produced nothing ( i am trying to root them elsewhere and possibly keep them going). lemme know what u think...

well... its day 56 ( day 26 of flowering) and im happy to say that whatever problem i had must have been nute burn cause she has been nute free for 2 weeks... and no sign of problems anymore... i will definitely stay away from those damn plant food spikes... i noticed that others are using much less of a dose of nutes than what the spikes provided... so i guess i should have read up on it first eh?!...lol... everything is going good right now... here she is...

i figure that i will go without nutes this time but when i do the next one... i'll grow a couple more plants and i will get good nutes before i start...

i got a question though.... from where she is now... how long do u guys figure before shes ready? my guess is another 3-5 weeks.... what do u think?

hey clarke ! You will be able to tell when she is ready by the colour of her leaves they will go yellow in colour as she drains all the water and sugars from her foliage to produce the buds. Hard to give an exact time scale of when to harvest her,just monitor it and water as usual.Hope this helps i am a cfl user as well. Peace

well... its day 61 and i figure shes a couple weeks till harvest... very frosty...
cant really tell from the pics cause of my shitty camera... but the main cola is so dense...

like i said from the start.. i only wanted a fairly small plant the first time... just to see how well the setup worked... next time its go big or go home!

Looking fantastic my friend! And like someone said before, some strains lose a lot of their lower leaves so don't worry about that too much. Looks yummy

yeaa man. so far so good.. i noticed in your other pics from like week 4.. there was water on sum of the leaves.. was that from u sprayin them? just to let ya kno. its only good to spray ur plants durin veg. once u get into flowering.. u dont wann spray anymore. its a really good way to get mold. =/ sumtimes the humidity will get to high and ppl lose their crops to mold.. and thats jsut from havin too much moisture in the air.. soo sprayin water right on them is a deff. no-no. lol. just lettin ya kno man... and yea they should finish up around 8 weeks. thats the "normal" times.. ur hairs will be about 3/4 red.. and wen shes done.. the hairs will start to recced back into the bud.. adn wont be sticking way out. =) i have a thread that i check out every so often.. its called "want to know when your plants will be done". its for mthis guy fdd.. hes got like 50,000 posts.. adn ALOT of experience.. soo wen u get a lil closer u should post sum pics on that thread.. and i will stop by here as well and tell u wat i think. lookin good so far tho man. keep up th egood work!! CFL's r the shit..

ok well... today was the day... its day 73 and i pulled her... like i said from the start, i just wanted a small plant to start... to see how well the cfl's worked for me... and i am quiet impressed!!

pretty much one big bud from top to bottom... a couple small little off-shutes... but i like it.

27.2 grams wet...
