Is this nitrogen deficiency or over watering? Or maybe a disease? Iv been fighting with this problem for a bit now. Iv changed the water and gave them this nutrients (see attached picture). Any suggestions
Age of plants? Medium they’re in and any feeding you have done.
If it's a potassium deficiency how do I get more potassium in my plants? It’s not a nitrogen deficiency. Appears potassium deficiency. But why at this stage?
Did you soak the coco and rinse it well before using it? If not that’s your explanation. It’s heavy in sodium. Sodium displaces potassium.I'll admit I don't know exactly the age of the plant so I'm goin to take a guess here, there around 4-5 weeks. The medium is coconut fibers. Not sure what you mean by feeding, could you elaborate for me. I'm new to growing and this form. Apologies for my ignorance
Personally I’d transplant into something that is not more than 30% coco. For multiple reasons. Rinse coco well. Some pretreat by resoaking in cal mag at 2 ml/gallon of water. But at least rinse really well. Even if it says you don’t have to!Did you soak the coco and rinse it well before using it? If not that’s your explanation. It’s heavy in sodium. No I didn't know I had to do that, iv grown in coco before and never has this issue. Any way to fix it?Did you soak the coco and rinse it well before using it? If not that’s your explanation. It’s heavy in sodium. Sodium displaces potassium.
Do you mean that you use only perlite? It soinds very interesting, what is the process?use perlite instead. I used to use perlite when i first started growing in 1996, i never had any issues besides a few white flies.
When i switched to coco i would get all these deficiencies. So im back with perlite. if they are monster trees they could fall over though as perlite is too light.
