You can flower any time you want, but you have to remember that they will at least double in size during flowering....just take this into consideration dealing with the space you have to grow.... hope the info was useful..Bro.....

Shake the stems, if the nuts rattle it is male. If it calls the law cries and you are arrested for domestics it is female. nice plant.

so far i've looked at both plants male and female on the web and so far the pistils are arranged like a female but time will tell.... Clowdy good coconut theory btw
