Ok so i topped my plant this morning at like 5:30 and its hott as hell today here so i thought outside would be better than my light so i put it outside at like 10:15 ok then i go and look at it at like 11:15 and all of the leaves are saggin down like i just killed it or something.. so i put it back in my room real quick and kinda sprayed it a little bit to cool it off. the soil was hot as fuckk. idk whats wrong with it do u? maybe it was shocked by the heat?

i wouldnt suggest spraying it again underneath a light. that will burn the shit out of your plants. and then it definitely will be dead. just leave it inside under its normal conditions and try and get more airflow in your grow area. ADD MOOOORE FANS!! open windows whatever you need to do to get it to cool down a bit! :)

well i mean its straight as hell in the grow room.. but u kno how i have that incadescent light right? yeah well im trying to top out my plant like 3 good times and then throw it into flowering. and i was thinkin throwin it outside today in the 90 degree weather would help it grow better than the light i have. but idk wayyyyyyyy to hott like that soil was fukin hot

lol okay good. i was like why would you do that. rofl.

thats good. if you have extra fans it will help cool your grow room down a bit. or you can try putting a big bucket of icewater and face a fan down on it. should blow out some cool air around the room!

Good point! ya bro if your room isnt keeping cool you gotta do somthin.

I would suggest a cheap $80 air conditioner if you really needed to, but im not sure they emit anything harmful to your plants... I would assume not since you breath it, but sometimes AC units give off a funny smell when they first kick on ya know.

yes but if you use enough COLD water and enough ice it should last a while and the fan is still going to blow cool air even after the ice melts because the water will still be cool. it will help if you're having heat problems/hot day/cant keep room cool for the time being.

yeah man i kno its suppose to be from like 70-85 is best but i didnt think with it being that hot outside would do much to it then help it grow better than the light i have. what happens to all the rest of the plants outside today if it just did that? lol

outside plants are different because they are usually native to your region and are built to withstand large temp changes.

marijuana is not built that way. it is a very picky plant. so if it was that hot it definitely wouldnt like it too much especially if its going from a cooler temp to that in quite a small amount of time.

you cant really compare all plants to marijuana plants.

yeah im not comparing other plants outside hahahaha. other pot plants outside is what i mean... but yeah i guess its from the rapid change from like 78 to like 93. but i mean like most of my leaves perked back up its just like 2 leaves now (3 leafs) like shrivled up at the ends of the leaf like half half haha half looks normal the other half is shrivled like hell.. dead but all still green =D
