Well I am certainly not the Problem, It's people like you who are the Problem, When we are headed in the right direction after all those years of destroying our ecosystem, we have found new ways of Clean renewable energy, and Trump wants to Burn more coal and you're behind him, that makes no sense. You may be a Country Boy as you say, where do you live a mile from the nearest store,gas station? I may have a paved road but the nearest store to me is 25 miles away, and I like it that way, There's no need to pollute more air,burn coal and many others that ruin our planet, We were on the right Track to making our planet Cleaner, starting to reverse this crap we have made, Do you realize that hole in the Ozone layer that was once a problem is almost gone now because of the steps we have taken to stop it? did you also know the Bald Eagle was taken off the endangered list after we quit using lead in the bullets ?, But now the king reversed that law too. If you like a Clean Planet it makes no sense you like king Donald.

he is supposed to lead an agency that protects natural resources from contamination by human activity. everything about what he is supposed to be doing says 'GOOD FAITH'. it's supposed to be acting in the interests of all stakeholders and the environment.

he is supposed to listen to environmentalists, corporations, and every other possible stakeholder and he is to find a happy medium. they are all supposed to come to the table with open minds and walk out of meetings with solutions that might not make everybody happy, but a solution....

why in god's name would he want a soundproof, windowless room? what is he going to be talking about in there?

I can tell you why. it is because the meetings that happen in there are going to benefit one stakeholder more than the other, and you cannot have the 'others' in the know. this is what a corrupt politician looks like folks. this is not normal and you cannot let this become normal.

I live in a developing country right now and this is how the government here operates. secret meetings, bribes, favors and blackmail. you are watching the demise of the greatness of the USA by the hands of Donald Trump.

the only way to ensure politicians act in good faith is if every single thing they do within the breadth of their responsibilities becomes public. no closed-door meetings, no 'off the record', none of that bullshit.... everything is public and you are held accountable. that is how you force people to act in good faith.... when you give them the cover of soundproof, windowless booths, private meetings, private email servers, private this private that.....

these are not a public servants acting in good faith.... these are corrupt business people screwing people for the benefit of a few....

this is how countries in South America have operated for the last hundred years and it has left the countries with a handful of very wealthy folks who drive around in armored convoys that are untouchable by everybody else.... they control what you see and hear, they control the money, they control the government and they do not answer to anybody......

Trump is a fucking disgrace and fuck all conservatives that voted for this asshole....

We have sunshine laws but the political weather in DC is cloudy right now. With a billionaire in chief who hasn't put his holdings into a blind trust, he's the first to benefit. But he's only the largest corrupt actor, there are others.

Hopefully 2018 will be the last year of complete control by Republicans. We have to endure Trump for a few more years thereafter. Some hope to see him impeached. Personally, I'm not optimistic of that.
