This kid might be smarter than Einstein.

A teenager who was diagnosed with autism and told he would never be able to read has been tipped as a future Nobel prize winner.
Jacob Barnett, who was diagnosed with moderate to severe autism at two years old, is now studying for a Master's degree in quantum physics.
Experts say the 14-year-old student from Indiana has an IQ higher than that of Albert Einstein.
His mother Kristine Barnett, author of The Spark: A Mother's Story of Nurturing Genius, told BBC Breakfast she initially found it hard to get Jacob the right education.

It's a shame so many of these kids have communication skills difficulties and how many potential genius' were misdiagnosed and/or untreated.

A lot of people have a higher IQ than Einstein it's certainly not unique.
It's also important to point out the limitation of IQ in regard of someone's intellectual potential.
There are a lot more parameters that needs to be taken into account before determining intelligence.

Btw, I'm not saying the kid isn't intelligent. ;-)

Hopefully he will do great things and get his Nobel prize in cannabis genetic research or some shit like that

As much as I love cannabis, I sincerely think they are more important issues at hand on which he could spend his time and capacities. If he is involved in physics as shown by his preparation of a Master Degree I don't think he will have much interest in biology.

This... everyone loves weed, but it's not at the top of my list.

Ya never know, he could be the next "Subcool".. lol
He could cross the next ATF and have everyone "super stoned",
And sell his crosses to all these seedbanks around the world & draw in millions! ;)

I think he should work on renewable energy. Mainly solar cells. The current DIY panels cost $2 per 1w but use up alot of space for little power they put out. If he made solar cels around 1.5x to 2x more powerful then what they are right now for the same price more people will be willing to spend the money on a setup thus helping to reduce the Co2 and such in the air.

The amount of energy it takes to manufacture current solar cells is immense and difficult, if even possible, to recover over the life of the cell as far as I understand it.
Hemp can potentially solve many of our energy concerns.

+1 for this kid studying the most amazing plant on earth.

You have to remember now that making solar cells have gone past the old days it uses less power and such to produce solar cells then it use to. Also there are companies that use the solar cells/panels that they make to help power their plants so in reality solar cells are more effient to produce then what they use to be. For me I'd rather see people invest into solar panels and have their own setup then use say Coal power plant, gas or oil power plants that some don't have a choice. Another thing that's why it would be good if he actully worked on solar cells because he can make it cheaper to produce, use less energy to produce and produce more power. There's some person that made the very first 3D Solar cell that didn't use just the top layer to produce power but it also used the layer under it.

If you want to use the sun to create energy in an efficient way, grow hemp. Otherwise you're wasting resources.

Most solar panels today literally cannot recover the energy it required to make them in the first place.

You have to mine the silicon (as waste from semi conductor production is becoming rarer), then you have to grow the proper crystals and heat them to 1600+ degrees (celcius so like 3000+ F) which as you can imagine takes huge energy as well.

Or you can grow a plant that is amazing efficient in it's conversion to energy because nature > us.

Solar cells are a dead end unless something dramatic happens to change it up.

Environmentalists frequently piss me off with their ignorance. Most don't even mention hemp. I went to March Against Monsanto and a bunch of environmentalists were talking about the dangers of CO2 ( rolleyes ) and how we need to make sure we basically live in poverty to save the planet or we're all gonna die and none of them had a fucking word to speak about hemp and it's potential.

Most of these issues are a joke used to divide people. Meanwhile real environmental disasters are frequently overlooked.
