I know being a ex-member of the US armed forces on how much muscle memory never fades.

This man survived 2 tours in Iraq.
He was defending his Child and spouse.
Yet bleeds out and dies after being shot more than 60 times.

I know Geneva convention and laws of war when fighting in conflict is you cannot turn back around to kill or even mercy killing and that you have to provide aid once the assailant has been disarmed. Shooting someone 60 times, in my book is properly disarming them, and once you put your weapon back on safety you cannot re-engaged a disarmed target unless he was to become armed again. I have seen first hand a enemy try to kill one of us, get hit, but then US having to medivac him out and provide medical treatment to him at OUR expense. I am sure the treatment is to maintain vitals and control bleeding, hopefully no morphine BUT why is the local authorities here in America not held liable for that they do, and how come they have no LAWS in this matter of giving care to a wounded subject after he or she is not longer a threat?

These SWAT agents are supposed to be highly trained in CQC, Which means controlled pairs, aiming at center body mass. a 5.56 round typically does not go straight threw, but yet ricochets around the body causing sever internal bleeding. 70 shots is more than 2 magazines, Meaning these 7 agents did about 10 double taps each. Regardless, he was gonna be killed with just 14 rounds going in him. That EMT would have never been able to save his life, but thats not the point. The actions of these officials in the following days does no justice to the conspiracy of this being covered up.

This really makes me sad, I guess I wanted to vent and bring this story to the attention of the few who might not of read it otherwise.

Thanks for reading

If you read all of the articles about this case you will see there is alot of problems with the two or three different stories the swat team have stated about the events, only to change the story once again.

They did the classic overstep, and have not admitted to it, and probably never will.

NO lmfao

let me break this down to you.

I can only take my point of view(did my fair share in iraq), and I am sure it correlates.

I am god damn paranoid about everything, I sleep with guns near me too.
Imagine laying in bed after just sending your child to school and you hear a unannounced guest blast threw your door, not sure if they used flash bangs, but raids typically do. So hearing any type of "ARIZONA SWAT, COME OUT WITH YO HANDS UP" is probably un-realistic and not too mention so fucking Hollywood. After this mental imagine being painted for you, then add the psyche of COMBAT VETERAN with the type and years of training to give you the muscle memory to defend yourself. The mental effects of a deployment on a Veteran. Then add the fact that the SWAT had no hard evidence to put their backs against giving them reason to raid that mans house in the first place.

So ya ya your self mother fucker

"police officers from at least four different police agencies armed with SWAT gear"
There's the problem right there! Get cops who don't even work together, hand them swat gear and then send them in on a raid?

The first two paragraphs tells everything they did wrong.

If real professionals were the ones doing the operation he would still be alive. They would have known he was an ex marine with weapons training and would have assumed he had weapons in the home along with a wife and kids. Precautions would have been made, procedures would have been followed and it would have all ended safely..

BBYY,

What happened was a tragedy. Thank you for posting.

To benny: your response was very insensitive. Also, from what I read, the Swat team entered through a dark hallway, and it is not clear if or when they identified themselves as police officers. I would hope that I would be brave enough to confront an invasion of my home with such clear headed resolve. He was clearly acting responsibly by keeping his safety on.

I was going to state too, thanks. Swat teams work years together on TTP (tactics, techniques and procedures). This whole situation went bad, it leave me to what wayno said, I wish that marine was on guard.
