I just wonder how he got thru it. How did he sing and dance for the man and not hate life? What could he have possibly gotten from it that made it worth while to be a boot?

Bill Robinson? Yeah, he died poor and had his funeral paid for by ed sullivan. He had bad gambling problems, but yes was a good tap dancer.

Here is another guy i dont understand. WHy does such a small ugly little man rule any sountry, let alone belligirently(?)?If this was me, i would be nice.

No but you could if you had addictions to feed. No doubt it was hard as hell for blacks throughout history, but this is a community that doesn't tolerate racism, or any other sort of hate. Bill Robinson had lots of ups and downs, but was greatly remembered for using humorous methods to get past peoples racism.
