This one is driving me nuts...

Any help would be appreciated

Every plant shows these same brown/rusty spots, so it's something I'm doing, it shows in new and old growth

They were just moved outside about a week ago, symptoms were present indoors as well

I'm using FFOF amended with pumice, castings and forest humics, nutrients are the general organics line, I have them all

These have received 7.0ph R.O. water (5.8-6.2 with nutes)

Now that they are outside its straight well water, 8.3ph and 300ppms out of the tap (obviously not ideal)

They will be transplanted this week into 100 gallon smarts pots full of locally available pre-amended outdoor mixes...

Oh, it's also my first outdoor grow, lots of indoor experience, but first year out

That said, I always consider myself a beginner and appreciate any knowledge and wisdom you may have!

Peace and pot

Epsom salts 1 tspn/gal when you water, or Calimagic or whatever if you use bottles, won't clear up, but it won't continue...good luck buddy!

I've been using calmag in almost every watering or feeding at 1tsp per gallon, I have also given epsom salts a couple times in the 3-400ppm range...

Do you think they need more cal and or mag? Or maybe either or is locked out due to whacky ph? Over feeding?

Thanks!

if you're giving every feeding then it may be a lockout, you could try plain old water next time, and see if the spots continue after that, I always P.H. my water no mater what, even in limed out soil, honestly that's the only reading I've ever worried about, when the ph is right, plants won't bite!

you stick a flashlight to the back of the leaves to see if the spots are spreading a lot easier too, hope it works out!

Thanks for the advice, ill try some epsom salt and RO water, they will be getting plenty of nutes in their new homes this week, via fresh soil
