the camp he attacked was a youth labour camp (the futrure of liberal politics) it also had children from around the world attending. the primeminister had also visited camp the day before hand
he said in his manifesto that the bomb was a distraction and that the camp was his main target

Norway have lost a lot more police officers due to the "ask for a gun" policy they use, which is also why MOST norwegian police officers carry guns these days.

it has smaller prison population than the usa
it has lower reoffending rates than the usa
it doesnt have overbearing "offical forces" like the TSA, DEA,ATF and on and on...

ya but this is a false argument cuz in colombine the police reached the school within min of the first shots. so they were on location very fast, and for taticval reasons did not make entry to the building, but there were there.
so comparing it to the 1 hr 20 min police response in norway is not really the same thing. though I never criticized thier response personally, Im wondering why they cant purchase a nice chopper with sharp shooters on in for this type of occasion.
