Thrips and neem oil W5 flowering?

Long time lurker on this website, decided to finally create an account :eyesmoke:

So I'm pretty sure I have a thrip infestation (waxy surface on top of leaf, tiny black dots on leaves :wall:) and was wondering what I should do? I've been reading that it isn't recommended to use neem oil this far into flowering (week 5 in my case), so what should I do?

I don't have access to american/canadian branded insecticides like captain jacks so I was looking for alternative solutions...
I was wondering if it was possible to try and cover all buds with saran wrap and spray the whole plant with neem oil as an option? :dunce: maybe not?

Curious on what you guys think!

Welcome man. Any pictures of the infestation looks like? People seem more inclined to reply. I'm trying cane molasses, apparently its suppose to help in preventing them from growing in the soil.
