Dude the military is great training for hundreds of careers, and it can pay pretty nice too.
I'm not sure why you have the mentality of everyone who joins the military just wants to shoot some shit and throw puppies out of helicopters.

animals are 100% innocent.
They are completely at our will and mercy...and people like this disgust me beyond belief.
