Tiger Bloom?

I could picture any landrace or autoflower having much lower nutrient requirements than hybrids because we have bred everything to be heavy feeders through generations of pushing everything to the limit for yields. I bet if you cut the dosage down for the landrace, it would also respond positively

My landraces are really digging the organics so far. five different strains and no nute burn in site

I quit using tiger bloom a long time ago. And I get through all of my grows just fine (both indoors and outdoors). Granted, they do have a decent amount of organic soil to work with (indoors 10-18 gallon outdoors 160'ish gallon) in the beginning. But I grow some pretty decent sized plants and just use the Big Bloom with some silica and honey to get through flowering with great results. 20200728_225039.jpg
I also have the honey in the mix for the microbes and it has always served me well.

I'm on board with the BigBloom.
Although I will agree that it can be used like a bloom booster in large living soil beds.

I should also note that I don't use their grow big anymore either.

All I’m saying is if you run out of nutrients in your soil or start with an inert soil, big bloom will not be enough on its own, however tiger bloom will be enough (for flower) if your in Veg it would be grow big. I challenge anyone to do a test run & prove me wrong…
 
I tried to skimp by just using the powders and my plants always lost their leaves after the leaves turned yellow. In the past when using all 3 powders and the liq trio I had awesome results.

As strong as Tiger Bloom is I bet Grow Big would just burn a hole through your leaves lol. Nice looking plants for sure. Im doing an all orgaic grow myself but i never heard about honey. That sounds like a solid clean sugar source

Fair enough, but if you run out of nutrients in your soil, your container is too small. And if it's inert it's not soil. Then people are feeding plants like hydro and pretending it's a soil grow.
All of these types of soil fertilizers are intended to be used as supplements to help a plant do better, not as the only source of nutrition available to them.
I'm not saying you can't grow a (large)great plant in a solo cup of depleted soil using fertilizers. It's just harder for new people like the op to get it done.
A lot of the time ( I believe ) new people run into problems because they believe you have to feed the plant to get to a decent harvest. And they really don't need to do that.
I think that if someone is new to growing, the best thing they could do is to just give the plant enough good quality soil to make it through flower, without feeding the plant anything. (It's cheaper that way too) And that being said, if they have enough soil to do that Big Bloom is something they can add without the risk of over doing things. And the big bloom will help them get slightly more out of the grow. Tiger bloom on the other hand, by itself, could cause them some issues.

My friend did something similar a while back. FF ocean soil beefed up with a bunch of castings, guano, coffee grounds and some other organics. The plants suffered deficiencies but not until towards the end of flowering and the bud ended up being so smooth and tasty. I mean youd have to put the joint out manually or it would just sit there and burn up. Id like to try something like that myself but Id really like to find a better soil source, no offense to fox farms

my leaves are all dying off and i use tigerbloom 20 ml per gallon i was thinking it was too much nutes but maybe its the opposite they are hungry?

Would need more info. How much water are you giving, how often, what medium? I wouldn't want to advise feeding without more details as over watering can also look and cause similar symptoms to nutrient burn and lockout and further watering could make it worse, I am speaking from an unfortunate recent experience.

its to late now anyways they start week 8 tomorrow almost ready i will do more research next grow
