Whatever you gotta tell yourself. Fact is they assemble bulk made parts. Doesn't take that long to put in a few screws and solder a few wires.

And at any rate, if they cant be competitive while others are, well.. capitalism. But then again I don't buy 65$/lb hamburger so maybe I'm just an irrelevant peasant.
Sure, I got no problem with that.......everyone can spend their money how they want! don't have to buy timber, plc, chilled, whatever.

I always say DIY is the best bang for your buck.

Anything good? Any links to theses lights?
For myself I'm running the bava quantum boards, 500 shipped for 720 watts of boards. Its 6x 120 watt boards. Prebuilt, plug and play. They are on amazon but they cost more on amazon than they do on szbaba.en.alibaba.com
I realize that some say say one thingor another, but honestly when it comes down to it every one of these parts are made in china. Where they are assembled doesnt make a differance to me. The board I got looks really good so far and time will tell how it holds up but the same watts from timber would have cost me more than double

Timber kit in full force. Do 2 of these plants under a 250 watt timber kit and you will have way too much weed!!! Do 3 of these plants under this timber kit and you'd probably brake the record.
Timbers customer service was unmatched when I dealt with them.
Cant tell if your being honest or sarcastic anymore lol. Ya got some extra space there for a few more shrubs :bigjoint:

I do like the idea of a single fixtureyself autocobs look good pactically the same.look as rapid led .i have a blurple its shite .
And running way too hot in my dowsized box even with an extra two 4 inch vemts added i liked the idea of the ch8bi for simplicity and ease of use it also comes with a dimmer on it and the timber warranty i wouldnt want.to.make such a light myself because of fire hazards how hot would a chibi run does anyone know ? Maybe raindan could chime in?

In the end i just bought the chibi .seems like perfect for one plant to me i needs be i can always add a d.i.y cob i did message and e mail a few people but havent gotten a reply as of yet .it was bought through ledgrowlightsdepot erik h was messaging me back and forth he said go hlg but i have wanted a timber for a while the 2vl was what i was goin to buy but after downsizing my growbox it was way too much i try to keep very low electricity consumption my box currently runs about 184watts at the minute with the blurple and two fans which will drop about 34 to 36 watts when the chibi comes also i am goin to chamge to a helical fan which uses about 13 watts less than my current extractor and 11decibels lower so shud be running about 150w for entire box which is pretty eco to me

But one knows what they are getting when they buy from Timber. It's not just where they are assembled, but the components used. Some people want quality, support and a warranty they can count on.

This is the biggest difference in a .80/w light and a Timber.

The timber is 100% built with the parts they claim, go into the chinese knockoff thread, many guys are expierenced with all things knockoff, the reason you pay less is crappy warranty and wondering if they will even honor it and the uncertainty of what your actually buying.

So ya, Timbers arent cheap, neither are HLG or amare or PLC, its cause they pay proper taxes, use proper parts and honor their products warranty.

I think even the most avid baba buyers/supporters will warn any newbs of these things.
