Timber grow light

so I just received my timber redwood vs and it’s working like a beauty. It’s only filling half of my 8x4 tent. I have a 4x2 light but I’d rather just get another light for the 4x4 space. I’m obviously considering getting a second timber redwood to fill the other half of the space. I was considered seeing trying a different light? Would it make more sense to get the same light since it’s in the same tent or will it not really matter?

What size pots? Can I get a lil details on what soil/nutes you’re using?

Thanks brother.. i was happy with the results.. this is what i did.. not saying whether its right or wrong.. i kept it as simple as i could..
I mixed pro mix HP with earthworm castings.. 9 parts pro mix to one part castings.. i used 7 gallon fabric pots and fed them mega crop, sweet candy, and kelp concentrate all from greenleaf nutrients.. just followed their feeding suggestions from their website and its also on the package.. 4 grams mega crop... one gram of sweet candy .. and .4 of a gram of the kelp per gallon of water.. did this thru veg.. it changed a little during flower.. i also added bud explosion during flower.. simple as that.. hope this helps.. have a good day..:peace: :bigjoint:

Also wanted to add that i use a lux meter to check for light intensity and to make sure there is light distributed evenly across the canopy....i started around 15k lux and turned it up gradually to 40k to 50k lux over a week or 10 day period for veg... and in flower i turn lights all the way up and at about 2 feet which should give you around 50k to 60k in flower... you can go a little lower but i fried some very young plants my first time so be careful..
:peace:

Hey hope everyone is staying well. I know this is from August of last year but I just ordered a Redwood VS for my bloom room. Never spent this much on grow lights before all at once but seems to be a good long term investment. I think the ballast on my HPS is going; keeps tripping the GFCI outlet. So time for an upgrade....
Just wanted to know; are you still happy with your Timber grow lights?
Can I see how they perform?
Trying to see some pics at the end of flowering under the Redwood VS if at all possible....

Nice man, congratulations on the investment.

I'm not a Timber owner myself, but I have heard nothing but praise for the quality of their fixtures.

Are you replacing a 1000 watt HPS with the Redwood VS?

Me too...just got email confirmation of my order with a direct number to call for Qs...I like that my light fixture will be custom built at the factory in the order it was received.
No it is a 600w HPS with blurple LED side lighting; I also have a four ft T5 with full spectrum plus UV bulbs in there. Hoping a single Redwood VS will replace them all.

I’ll have to get back to you on the old pics if I have a few but yeah my timber is still running just as good as it was since day 1. I got about 12 plants in 1 gal pots in my 5x5. Doing a little SoG with it rn. Barley check on here but I’ll get back on tomorrow and actually post a few things. Got some early lemon berry from Ethos Gebetics going atm.
