I started my first indoor grow a month ago, and would like some advice/suggestions as to what i should do.. I am trying to decide when i should flower my babies..
Originally used MG soil... have since repotted w/ FFOF and using Fox Farms Grow Big..
Plants are 4 weeks old (grown for 2 weeks under flouresents, then switched to hps)
4 plants are right about a foot tall as of yesterday.. 2 are a bit shorter, unfortunantly stunted very badly from the MG nute burn...
Now in 3 gallon pots...
250 watt hps with 18/6 lighting schedule..
Closet is lined w/ mylar wrapping paper.. local hydro shops didn't have mylar rolls at the time... don't intend to buy supplies online at all..
light is kept 12-16 inches away from plants
Temperature in room is between 72-78 degrees w/ humidity on average about 50%...
2 fans inside closet.. intake and exhaust VIA duct fans... both 6 inches... no carbon filter installed yet, but will be looking into it in the near future...
Watering about every 3-5 days.. have fed plants two feeding w/ Grow Big (1/2 teaspon per gallon of water)
I have 5 ft to work with.. So the plants could get around 4 ft tall, leaving around a foot between the top of the plants and the light... I know they can double or triple in size once they go into flowering... They have anywhere from 6 to 8 nodes, with the top nodes producing 7-9 blades...
At 2 ft, if they tripled in size, i would run into some problems... lol... This is my first indoor grow as mentioned before, and i'm not using any topping, fimmin, scrog, etc.. techniques this time around.. I want to go through the growing process indoors once before trying any of those, but i will be utilizing them in the future..
Should I flower, or wait another week?
first two pics are from yesterday, last pic is from a few days prior... camera phone pics suck, but it's all i got right now..
any advice/suggestions appreciated..
