ok a little background. this plant was taken from one house to another, was removed from its soil and everything. i bought some miracle grow organic soil, and re-planted it. i have had it for 5 days now. i have watered it one time, and i need to water it today sometime but i was gonna wait till i get a response on my problems. i have 3 100-watt equivalent cfl's. thinking about changing it to 6. i have never fertilized it yet. any help or advice would be appreciated greatly.

when do i fertilize?
should i upgrade to 6 100 watt equivalent cfl's?
how old does my plant look?
the branches looked spaced kinda far apart, why?
why are my leaves changing colors/curving downward.

thanks again. if u need more pics of what i have set up or anything let me know i will get them right away.

Hmm it does look a tad bit stretched and that's just due to lack of light. Either put some likes on the side and make sure the current lights are close enough without burning her.

it has nute burn. try to put it in different soil. It's pretty young, yet, and MG is pretty rich stuff. Put in somthign a little more mellow like Ocean Forrest (by Foxfarms) if you can get your hands on it, or do a flush and just feed with water and a little b-1. DON'T give it more nutes. The b-1 will help with any possible transplant shock.

so should i flush it tomorrow? cause i was planning on just watering it tomorrow. how should i go about flushing, im not too familier with it and i cant seem to find it anywhere on here on how to do so. i think im supposed to give it about, 3 gallons of water or so one time only? i can flush it right now, and i was wondering if i should flush it now, than put a little bit of the b-1 with water tomorrow, or should i just add some b-1 into the flushing water?

--also i have picked up some y adapters for my lights, and i now have 6, 23 watt (100 watt equivalent) flourescents in there. 2 of them are "daylight" (5500k) and 4 of them are "bright white" (3500k). its about a 14inch depth x 26 inch wide x 40 inches tall wooden box, no paint or mylar or anything. approx 8600 lumens. hopefully im good on light strength now.
thanks much!

take back the bright whites tommorow the plants have no use for them. They are in a green/yellow spectrum. pick up some cool blues or warm whites.

flush it with your normal watering tomorrow. pour a bunch in and keep pouring until it comes out the seep holes. Wait 5. Do it again but this time more water. Wait 5. Do it again. Wait 5. Then do it one last time with just enough water and B1 to just start coming out of the drain holes.

THEN DON'T WATER until it's dry.

As the Rivers said, take those lights back. Stop wating money on little CFLs and get a big-ass EcoPlus or Sunleaves CFL or a LOA FLUOREX lamp.

You'll pay the same as a handful of CFLs, but these will actually do the job.

You will want to flush your pots with distilled water.

Flush with three times the volume of your pot....for example if you have a three gallon pot, water with 9 gallons of distilled water.

hey my leaves look like that too, how do I flush my plants, they are in pot with soil
he just told us how lol. flush with 3 times the amount total of water that your pot is. so if u have a 3 gallon pot, use a 9 gallon water flush. dont use just tap water tho, its not good lol. run to a water supply place, and just get a 10 gallon container and use that.

---also i have bought 4 more "sunlight" bulbs, so i have 6 "sunlight" bulbs now, 100 wat equivilant. about 9000 lumens or so. i get paid next week so im thinkin about buying like a 250 watt metal halide from htg supply. they seem to have good prices and when i called them, they were very helpful and told me a lot of information. i dont want to flower anytime soon because i dont have a nice venting/air control set up. but when i get that all good to go, i will get it goin.
--when i get home from my last college class, i will flush it and see how it goes, and ill be picking up some b-1 on my way home. :) man u guys r helpful haha thanks

rofl oh yeah i suppose he did lol, well hey so i mean what just pour like 10 gallons of water through the soil?
i believe so. but i think you should wait untill it needs its water, and when its time to water, flush away, than dont water again untill it needs it, it kinda just flushes away the nutrients. hopefully this is correct but im pretty sure it is. but remember, make sure its clean water, not straight from the tap!

alrighty, plant has been flushed, i only used 2 gallons of water, and i purchased some hormex b1 liquid concentrate. how i flushed was i ran 1 1/2 gallon of water through the pot, than on the last half gallon, i put a little bit of the hormex in it. also i put up some white poly all around the little box that i have so my 6 cfl's should be doing what they should now :) ill find out in the morning how it goes!!!
