Tips for beginners?

Hello, everyone.

I have just recently began reading up on growing and there is a lot of information that I am fully studying at the moment.
However, I would like to know if some experience growers have some key tips that can help someone who is inexperienced.
I am really only looking to grow something very small in a small pot indoors.
Let me know, please.
Thank you.

try your best not to overwater the plant. dont mist the plant. wait a month after if breaks ground to begin using nutes. use an intense light source for the best results, check the ph of water your using-keep it between 5.8-6.8 ..... it's very simple really, just dont overthink it. good luck and let us know how it goes..... :)

there are a few corner stones for a grow. first temps, you do not want your plants to suffer in temps above 85 F. if you can help it. PH is also quite important, if its anywhere 6-7 and your growing in soil dont fuck with it, unless you have a proper meter. if its outside that range you are going to need to adjust it to a tolerable range. 6-6.5 will be good. 3. water, you have to water adequately but not too much, too little or too much will cause problems. humidity can become a problem but most people dont have any problems from it.

keep watch on your plants, they will let you know what they need. droopy plants need water, yellowing plants in veg need nitrogen. keep reading, keep watching, keep learning. you will make mistakes. learn from them.

oh i almost forgot... probably the most important thing, security. as far as the world knows you dont grow dope. dont tell your family. dont tell your friends. dont tell jesus and especially dont tell the devil.

Although im not the experienced

Lights : As much light as you can afford and have them as close as you can without exposing them to excess heat
Heat : Always in the 70-80 Range unless your using C02 alternatives. - It should also be monitored in the soil and kept under room temp if possible.
Soil : PH management is essential to all nutrients and is of utmost importance ,- Regular flushing should be done with ph equalized water , regardless of your medium. PH should be kept at 5.5-5.9 in Hydro systems and 6-6.6 in Soil.
Humidity : The air in your grow space should be around 50% humid for cloning and first faces of beg but then gradually reduced throughout the grow. High humidity can cause pests such as mold and fungi.
Pests : A clean environment is the best help against pests such as insects , fungi and mold.

Those i find most important =/

dont overfeed dont overwater(underwater/underfeed if anything) if you got a lot of heat think of the way the air flows(best way to reduce heat)

REad up on lights. Determine which way you are going to go with that. MH/HPS? CFL?
Buy enough lights to do the job. You do not need 1000 watts or anything crazy. Those people are probably growing 10 plants at a time...you are not...right?

If you are going to buy seeds...research which seedbank has good reputation and good prices. I used Gypsy Nirvana Seed Boutique successfully. I've read and believe Attitude seedbank to be a good choice as well.
Buy cheaper seeds. They will still be better than what you get in a baggie of pot. (bagseed) You can buy feminized seeds (guarentees a girl plant) and if only growing very small scale...I'd recommend feminized seeds.
If you buy from Attitude seedbank you can even buy individual seeds.

i veg more plants than 10 under 100watts. you could use a 1000watts for 30 plants in veg. but you could also place your lights verticallly aswell
