Yeah I know *Buds.. Whenever the talk wanders over to guns and ammo it goes movie not reality. Of course a 9mm will kill a bear. Just because every law enforcement agency got rid of the round because they were not even suitable for soft body targets like humans does not mean they won't kill a bear. Hell, I think the record for grizzly is still held by some old native american woman trying to keep it out of her cabin. She used a .22. My go to Maine bear gun is a .308 which has plenty of knock down power for N.E. bear but if you shoot a 300 pounder you have done well. Most of them weigh in at an average of 125lbs. I've seen legal bear that were under a hundred pounds before being field dressed. They were such cute little fellows but I go home with an unfilled tag before I even think about it. Ha Ha.
:peace:
I believe chronic killed a bar with a 9mm but I'm sure he knows it was a poor choice of weapons and it was probably illegal to do anyway. Can you legally shoot a bear cause he is dragging away your deer. As far as a .22/250 or .22 go I can't imagine there is a state that allows either for bear. At least with the 22/250 I can be far enough away that he doesn't run over and kick my ass. I would still rather have a molten salt gun.

Do you west coast guys get a lot of HOG?
There's a TON of hog out here in the foothills outside the San Joaquin Valley.

Rippers don't give a shit this year. One Mexican kid came up missing 2 months ago trying to rip out here. They found the truck used but never found his body......the boy was only 15 years old but was playing a grown man game. He came on a farm with a couple other dudes with the intentions of robbing. But once the growers noticed them on the property they busted at them with fully's and ended up only catching the 15 year old boy.......I am not sure if they ever found his body or just accepted the fact that he is dead and gone. The parents even knew there son was robbing people. They can't really be that surprised :blsmoke:

P.S. Hey, all you fags that rip plants and are reading this thread:arrow::finger:

I live in a part of Canada were the population of bear is larger than that of human. Around here if a ripper get shot in the bush unless your bullet hit a bone the postmortem is always the same : Joe Ripper was attack & eaten by friendly wild-life

Who the fuck said Fresno was INVOLVED in that?
:eyesmoke: what exactly did you take me accusing Fresno of being involved in? it appears to me that he is 'involved' enough in a group of growers forced to defend their families old west style to have some insider gossip- wow Rollie really jades a stoner

It appeared to me that you were implying that Fresno was involved in the disappearance of a "kid". If not, then i apologize.

The knowledge he seems to have appears to be fodder outta the local news.

We don't have many bears this side of the St Lawrence River until our hills but we do have an unusual number of hunting accidents where people just wandering through the woods are mistaken as dear.

3 years ago a grow I was involved in was robbed. We had a barb wire fence with 2 pits on inside. Another barb wire fence with plants inside of that A treehouse with a armed lookout. Yet three guys still went after the crop. Their 2 german shepards were killed by the pits. And the thieves were fired at with a shotty, I don't know if they were hit, but I would be surprised if they werent. What a mess!!

Last night a loomis california resident was arrested for calling the cops because 3 guys were spotted in his 100 plant crop with guns. The 3 men fired 2 shots at the house before fleeing. They haven't been caught. This is what happens if you are greedy and grow too much. You are stuck with the choice to either allow the thieves to take your crop, shoot and maybe kill them, or call the cops and get arrested. Not worth it!

Some peoples like to have a Deer head trophy hanging to their wall, personally I would prefer a few pot ripper head lined up over my couch.
Right on I can't even be in a room with a dead animal head on the wall with those glass eyes glaring butthen they are not armed nor have ever done me harm lol but I could handle Ripper Heads!

Where Mon is from, some people kill you for looking at them "funny".
Where I am from people go missing for going down the wrong street - In the 80's there were 6 cars lined up on the side of the hwy in my area and they were all registered to "missing people" and a couple of bikers got arrested in the situation

I am going to skip straight past wtf it is legal in Cali he has an affirmative defense if he can show the court that 100 plants are appropriate to his condition and head straight to the fact I don't even know how big these plants are but let's say they are potentially to all yield 2 lbs which I think is fair and we also don't know if he was exporting out to the prohibition states or stuck with selling bulk on the local market so we have a rather generous range for his potential income and off the top of my head if this is the crop of the head I know in these parts even exporting bulk gets you around 2G tops so are you really calling a business pulling in around 200G before overhead costs Greedy? just saying :peace:

Edit: Seriously just check this out before labeling folks greedy?
