TO do 12/12 or not? (need to limit plant height)

I want to limit my plant height to about 30" .

DO you think it be better to veg them until they are about 6-8" then go 12/12?

Or just 12'/12 from seeds?

I see there can be a few downsides to the 12/12.

Just looking for some advise

the more you can veg the girls the more bud they will produce later. If your limited to 30" than ya i would veg to 8"-12" then put them under 12/12. Can always tie the branches down to make it more bushy, less tall
