Not the reason I wanted to see as to why he isnt here. Leeny do you know his release date, cause i havent seen him for a bit so hopefully its only like 8 more rather than 9...

I'd rather do time than sit around on probation anyday. Of course, I'd end up violating my probation (again, LOL) because I refuse to quit smoking for anyone.

Is it a felony or misdemeanor he's serving time on? If it's a misdemeanor, he'll only serve half the time. A felony he'd have to serve like 80% or something, I forget the exact number but they hardly ever make you serve ALL the time you're sentenced to. Unless you act stupid in jail. Then they'll keep you =(

yeah, I believe it was about a month ago when he was put in...

that would be nice if he could get out early.... I don't really know specifics because I haven't been able to talk to him personally yet. I will only be able to write him when he gets put to his permanent placement (don't know where that will be either) and that is still 4 weeks away

do you have a house phone? give his mother your number so he can call you...... a letter is better than nothing, but it is wonderful to have someone to talk to in jail
