To flip or not? That is the question

Got this as a clone 6weeks ago.
Strain OG Kush grown in soil.

Hight is now 32cm / 12.5inches but has undergone LST / bending.
With is 45cm / 17.7inches.
Tent hight is 2m / 79 inches.
Wil be using 400w HPS in bloom

Not sure how tall its supposed to be..

Is it to soon to flip or Should i veg longer and will that give higher yield?

You need x inches for the lights from the ceiling. Their design and need for heat mitigation requires at least 6 ot 10 inches most likely.

The light should ideally be xx inches from threcanopy. Say 18 in, depends upon lighting system.

The pots are xx inches tall.

Add those to know how much grow space vertically you have...79 inches minus this total.

Find the expected stretch of og kush...check the breeder or grow diaries.

I see 2 - 3x stretch, so plant could at most triple in size. Divide the available space by 3, that is the safety size to flip at. Divide the available space by 2, that gives you the tallest it should be at most if stretch is less. You have to decide when to flip!

I hear ya! ….15 yrs ago I started growing my own just so I could determine the quality I once had to pay through the nose for....never could trust a dealer for the quality I desired.
BTW...I'd flip it.

Beautiful plant. I would flip that switch and look forward to watching her change. Good luck.

If you dont have a full room of plants, i would leave it. You can see through it from the side and from the top, its perfect. Defol a little along way and potentially lollipop a bit, but i would do the defol later. It doesnt need it now.

It's an Early Miss from Crop King seeds. It was supposed to be an auto but after 11 weeks I gave up and chaged to 12/12, now two weeks later I got some buds coming in. 11 weeks in veg explains its size. It was under 2 X 1200 watt LED (advertised as 1200 but I believe 330 watt draw). 2 weeks ago I put it under a 1000 watt vivosun MH light set to 600 watts. Will be changing bulb to HPS any day now. Thing is taking up a 5X5X7 tent.

Haha..deffective autos. SucksI got 8weeks in veg and some first timer tryna lst. Hoping to get some yield atleast. I got 8 Nice clones already vegging. 400wMh in veg and 400w hps in Bloom.
