To Harvest, or not to Harvest

I think it’s time but some of foxtailing has kinda confused the picture. With the calyxes it has new trichs.. they seem to be lagging a bit.. i e got most all are cloudy, few ambers mostly on sugar leaves, and some clears on the foxtails.
Day 66… Gold Leaf and a Purple Haze
Most opinions welcome!!

Looks like they’re almost there. Not quite there for my preference though. I had a banana Kush go 12 weeks because I let all the foxtailing do it’s thing, and waited for that final swell. I haven’t had any other bud come out as good as that did. As far as trichome maturity, at week 9 she was at about 10-15%. By week 12 she could be renamed Amber Heard.1587FE7D-3887-49AF-9621-159B0B60C9E4.jpeg59AD9021-BC9A-41D2-A5E2-B6BF41202BE9.jpeg

You'll notice the foxtail only a bit after the last swell before chop. Once dried they will pop out just a little more, but it doesn’t take away from anything. More surface for trichome villages. :-)

This is the same banana Kush bud all trimmed.

If you run it til you only have about 10% clear trich’s you won’t regret it.
that’s a problem with the Foxtailing I think, the trichs on the new sprouted calyx will be clear while all the other ones are cloudy af, it just confusing the picture. These pants have gotten hardly any N throughout the entire grow. Those foxtails are from the lights. I raised them, again,( first time I left em to low and it darkened the top leaves) and it wasn’t so prevalent.
