to recirculate, drip or both?

I have a 22gal tote with 2 plants and 2 water pumps. This might sound funny, but my water pump has a switchable nozzle so I can connect an airline to it, to recirculate oxygenated water. I have my GH air pump connected to both my water pumps, and was asking if it would be better for the water pumps to just recirculate the aired water or instead create 2 feed lines for the plants?

any crazy thoughts are welcome men, I just want to hear them!
