Not having a PH Pen for 1 week when you're running hydro is stressful, not knowing what the ph is and just guess when mixing gets on my nerves.

That Indoor is very impressive! The new season is right around the corner bro!

Do you re-use the netting you had from last run or do you have to buy a new one every year or two?

Peace
FM

The netting i re-use every year, Last year i got quite a few holes in it tho so we will see if i need to buy a new roll.

At $350 bucks it wouldnt bother me to have to buy a new roll every year tho, It more then worth it to keep the bud worms out.

I had subscribed to this and then it went away. Weird how that happens to my stuff sometimes. Ive been unsubbed from the 600 at least 3 times. I'm here again though!

No worries Chaka happens to me sometimes.

Not having a pH meter for hydro is stressful. I like growing hydro but soil is much more forgiving then hydro. Thats good you get to re-use that netting, it did what it was supposed to do! Those fucking terminators are deadly when they get into the buds! Do you plan on SCRoG outdoors again?

Yea im lucky the PH pen came early cause when i checked my DWC it was 4.5 no good.

It was time for a water change and i had been bubbling a 5 gallon buck for a day to get the chlorine out.

I also got a TDS/PPM pen with the PH pen so i checked my water out of the hose 180ppm i knew it was hardwater already, After adding my DWC nutes i checked the ppm again about 700 not bad.

Everything is looking good as for the soil plants im going to hit them with a straight water and molasses tonight.

When I used the CNS17 from Botanicare it always came out at 5.8-6.0 so that was nice. 180 PPM out of the hose is actually quite good, I'd drink it. When I've ran hydro in the past I never wanted to go over 1500ppm as a personal preference and usually more around 1200. Sometimes if you were going to add like all your nutes and supplements though you'd get up over 1500 and also the PH will drop too far along with it. So on a day where I wanted to add say, bloom, nectar, humic acid, avalanche etc I would add all my supplements first, then whatever gap was left I'd fill with the bloom nutes. Thats how I liked to do it anyway! Ramble ramble

I do plan on doing a Scrog outside, I have a couple clones im already growing for outside going to have some monsters this year.

Im about 3 in a half weeks in, things are good.

Yea im using GH for my hydro, This is soemthing i dont have much exp in and had a question when i change my DWC water set the ph at 5.8 and come back the next day my ph is usually around 6.5 is this normal for the ph to rise like this its only for the first day i change it.

Before i water i bubble it for 24 hours to make sure the chlorine is out, i also dont really care for the GH products for DWC they leave a shit loud of residue at the bottom of my bucket by the third day.

Last DWC i ran i used Supernatural came out pretty good.

The longer Ive grown the more I always lean towards 1 way. If you're growing with tap water and any sort of nutes at all and see problems... its overfert. LOL My current grow even when I was saying I was hitting them hard it was still like half doses compared to what the bottles say. It looks like you're in soil too no? Soil + nutes = no way a deficiency! Thats just me though, I don't think I've grown a deficient plant in my life... but now overfert is a whole nother ball game!

tokalot wow sweet ladies. hey i have a question about magnifier. Is this one gonna work to see thricomes easy? http://www.ebay.com/itm/191016708652 thanks

I was thinking the same about over but i cant see it.

Since i use teas and not reg nutes, Plus i never water with just tea i dilute half water half tea.

Plus the water before last was just water and molasses, then the most recent water was just some ancient forest, A lil happy frog, and some root powder.

These plants are bigger then i normally grow and my PPM is never over 1400 if that, when i hit them hard atleast, thats water going in not drain off.

I transplanted from 2 gallon pots into 3 gallon then waited a month then flipped to flower, I think its a def. not over fert.

Like i said this is my first time running guanos and i think im not supplementing something, The one plant thats in a 5 gallon pot isnt showing any signs of anything except bombness.

If it meets my specified criteria, then yeah overfed. Its all ball bearings these days!
You notice ALOT of the time people are battling a deficiency of some sort they rarely work it out and it just gets worse or stays the same? They fiddle fuck around up till harvest and then its a memory. I see it a lot anyway... Its because they were going the wrong direction all along! I'll have to look back through this here journal some more to get a better idea~

thanks bro. too me the leaf looks good. the veins look dark but that can be from you giving her enough of minerals. its flowering and gonna do weird things here and there. she will be great. i actually think ive seen that a few times in pics on riu and they rocked on easy to harvest with np. I do the same thing i look my babies over adn i usually have to say back up change the light and look again. light can mess with our eyes.
