Finally done chopping and starting the cleanup………massive weight for sure. This will give you some idea. There’s 7 rows there.image.jpg

The OKC which is still drying is now down to slightly over 11 oz so I think I’ll end up around 3 1/2 oz per plant, which is still very good for that strain.

So last night I tried the OKC, and it was fair. I’d have to try different plants before I will be able to give it a fair chance. I quick dried the Bubble Head in a food dehydrator tonight, and it’s MUCH better. Lol

Actually, it now about 10-15 minutes later and after a few more hits, I’m very f*cked up. I can see why everyone raves about it! Very sour but tasty, and that’s quick dried. With a nice cure, this could be a superstar.

Tony Green, the breeder, asked if he could use some of my pic’s of the Bubble Head…….at least he’s nice enough to ask before stealing them. Of course I said yes……. He has a thread over at another forum where I post some pic’s. I’ll definitely be doing some of his other stuff shortly, that’s how much I love this one!

Update………so right now I have 79 oz in Tupperware and another 2 1/2 rows still drying. I’m averaging around 11-12 oz per hanging row and using those numbers, would put me at 107 oz. I’m guessing I’ll loss another 4-5 oz while continuing to dry and cure. About 60 will be gone on Monday.

Below is the room empty and clean and what’s left hanging………..

So, it’s been a week since I started chopping, everything is now in Tupperware or packaged up. Current total weight is 107 oz and 22 grams, but I expect to lose another 3-4 oz (or more) as I open and close everything over the next week or two. Let’s just say i‘ll lose another 5 oz while drying which puts me at 102 oz with some extra grams. Not my best yield but I always shoot for 100 so no complaints. It also tells me the lights are still performing well after 2 years (and 8 grows).

Looking at the math, this crop produced at 2.23 grams per watt, again not my best but anything in the 2.2-2.3 range is good. My Orange Gasm grow was my best at 2.3 gpw so I just missed that target.

I’ve been smoking the Bubble Head the last couple of nights, it’s very good. Everyone who has tried it loved it. I probably wish I didn't wait another week to chop, but really, no complaints at all. For a mostly sativa strain, it performed really well.

I’ll put the new Thug Roze seeds in their pots later today, and start a new thread shortly………

Woohoo I was so close at guessing a 104... I'm so curious to official dry weight now !!

Nope......started last Saturday on the BH, 90% was done by Sunday. The packaged stuff was the OKC, which was cut 2 Saturday’s ago. The BH still has a bit to go, I open and toss the Tupperware contents a few times a day. With the A/C running, it sucks moisture right out of the house, so things dry pretty quickly. Still though, smoking the BH and it burns beautifully. 2 week cure and it will be amazing.

Weight continues to hover at 106 oz, but it actually dropped to 105 but I had some fluff stuff to trim up and add in. I don’t expect it to drop much more now, as it’s pretty dry and burns nicely. This may very well be my 2nd best yielding crop at 104-105, while the Orange Gasm finished at 106 oz. I’ll say it again, it‘s very good, and gets you nicely high for a long time. Time to get everything ready for shipping.image.jpg
