yes place your fridges open in there :D

on a more serious note, we need more info and pictures would also help us, not just with better advice, but also make Ppl. in here be more serious about your post

what kind of ventilation do you run in there ? how is your ambi temperatures ? do you run it at day time or night time ? do you have a AC or a direct line to outdoor air ?etc etc

Run ducting from your central air conditioning unit into your grow area. Dont ask me how to do it, im not a tin basher myself but that would work. You may have to install a thermostat in the grow room also. Theres also the option of installing a window mounted a/c and running the cool air through ducting into the closet. Window way has more visible ducting but is cheaper and easier but the central air is more stealth because the ducting is in the roof or crawlspace. :):):)

OK start at the beginning, where is your thermometer in the grow closet mate ? and do you have a fan circulation the air in there ?

If your temperature is 91 at the soil you definitely need to fix something...

What do you have running one 24 hour one 12 hours?

My thermometer is sitting in one of my pots by the bottom of the stems, yes I have one running 24 hours a day and one that I run for 12.
Plants aren't supposed to run...not good for the roots or something? Seriously dude you need to get some fresh shit in there and stale shit out, that temp is too high you should cool it down with something.

Uh, yeah, some additional details about the space, lighting, exhaust\venting would be good. Are you using HID lighting?

Just having a regular old fan or two in there isn't going to cut it. You at least need passive venting to exhaust the heat (hint, it rises) and bring in fresh air. In the summer with HID lighting it is best to have air-cooled reflectors for your lighting an a high output duct fan. Even then, depending on the exact # and wattage of lamps an AC may be required to get temperatures below 80F.

I don't have any venting or exhaust, its in a closet and I'm using CFL lighting. That's why I was asking for ways to cool the area down, I have a fan going 24 hours a day and another that runs for 12, one of them is outside of the closet pointing towards it. I figured that would push fresh air in and the one that's in the closet would push it out, the temps are down to 85-86 now that I have it like that.

if youre in a enclosed closet with no way to bring in fresh air from the inside youre gona need to open up the door. in a enclosed environment like that you can have ten fans blowing in there and it wont do anything to drop the temps. if there is no fresh air coming in youre just recirculating the hot air.

Yes dude the others are right, you need to have venting in the closet or you WILL have problems. I am doing a closet grow right now and I drilled holes in the back at the top and bottom. That way the hot air goes out the top (hot air rises) and automaticly cooler air is sucked in at the bottom. I am also in the process of installing PC fans to drive the air out and in through the holes I drilled. Still keep the other fans going on the inside but you need to vent man. Plants need fresh air.

How big were the holes that you drilled?
If you can imagine loads of holes in a 120mm X 120 mm sqaure, makes it look like the back of a PC box air inlet :-) So no it was not just 1 or 2 holes it is more like 4 squares with 20+ holes in each sqaure. The idea is to have loads of air that can come in and out. So attaching the pc fans to these areas (hence why 120mm) will hopefully help it along. On the inside I made a sort of cover for them with cardboard to keep the light in and out and because it is at the back of the cuboard it also helps with light leakage. It is not perfect but it seems to work. My advice is think carefully about how you want to do it before you start.

But to have say 2 X 120mm sqaures with holes at the top and the same at the bottom will defo help you get some fresh air in there.

Good luck.
