Too late to switch to HPS?

I'm currently growing with CFL's, but because of the high mercury content, my spouse would prefer I use a different bulb.

I'm currently at around 6 weeks flowering two Blackjack and one chrystal. It's a ghetto/closet grow.

Unfortunately, my first baby got so stretched from my inexperience, but my other two are looking good, esp. the smaller BJ.

Anyway, please let me know. Logically speaking, it seems that it would work, but I also assume there would be some stress to the plant.

Perhaps I'll just wait for my quadruple thunder grow to switch.

It's never too late to switch buddy.

Heck, if you wanted to you could switch the lights out, or add your HPS during the last week of flowering.

ahh! Those are lovely buddy. Blackjack from Nirvana right? I've heard good things about that strain...

Yeah, it's BJ from Nirvana. I hear a lot of good things too. The chrystal is loaded with trichs, but not a lot of bud, where the BJ has a lot of bud, but not a lot of trichs...
