I thought it was going to die as I almost see no change, but today I def noticed the tip of a true leaf growing milimetrically. It will take forever, but Im so excited!

Yeah, I just watered it yesterday night but it is a party cup and with direct sunlight on it it will need watering again in 2 days.
When they are that young in solo cups I like to use a spray bottle...it takes a little extra work but it keeps the mositure content optimal...then as they get bigger I use a full size garden sprayer.... then when fully grown I literally drench the soil with a watering can...I wouldn't put a date on it... let them dry out completely before watering again...and from what I can see you got a few days you can relax and not water them.

jiffy pellet
Personally, I had a bad experience with jiffy pellet, lost most of my seedlings. I read in a forum, not sure which forum I read this from, anyway the farmer wrote that the mesh that holds the pellets together often restricts the seed from spreading its roots.
Since then, my seedlings go into soil and they almost always survive.

Yes I've heard this too I don't use any pellets or anything just str8 up soil man...even my clones go directly into soil never had a problem if you keep your environment in check

Well, I planted directly on soil on pot this time, and yes I had a 100% success rate. However, not being able to see where the seed is and if it has enough moisture made me a bit uneasy. Perhaps using party cups is a better solution?

I Kno I been there...you put the seed and water then it just moves all around...but now you get to take it easy for a few days check back let's us know what's happening

Somehow they got rot. Soaking and paper towels are not always 100% methods. Try reducing both to a few hours.

Pinkie didn't survive, it rotted, seems like fungus attack. On a side note, the soil I'm using seems to be very good but not for seedlings as they seem to get nute burn. (see pic) don't even know if the one with nute burn will survive. The other one is grown in special cannabis mix.
Everyday you learn something new: next time I will plant directly on jiffy pellet and transfer to soil after a week. This never gave nute burn in the past. The seedlings in the pic were germinated directly on the 2 types of soil.

What type of soil mix did you use exactly for #1 and #2

One is a special cannabis mix I bought from a guy who sells organic fertilizers specific for cannabis. The other I have always bought it in the nursery store, they call it prepared and I had never had issues with it unless they changed the formula. It does look muddy because I had it in a bucket and the bucket got water for a long time and when I applied it it looked like mud now, and yes, it seems the seedling has just got the rot.

It seems at least for me Jiffy pellets are the way to germinate seedlings. If I plant it directly on the potting soil it seems they get nute burn or something and get stunted, but if they grow 2 weeks in the jiffy pellet before transplant to the same soil then the jiffy acts like a buffer and they grow just fine.

Thats because you are buying pre-charged soil and seedlings don't respond well to feeding
