Too much bending and..... Snap! Crap Need Help on CLONEING THE DEAD:wall:

The last couple days I started to bend instead of topping. It was working great more branches were coming threw and just added co2 so was coming alone very nice.

BUT today I bent a lil too much on the K2 Kush Mother and about 3/4th of the way up the plant next to the top it snapped. I almosted .

ANYWAYS I rushed to the store and grabbed the gel and the dome and was wondering.......

1. How long until the plant is non cloneable after cut/snapped/pinched off?

2. Will the main stock keep going? Is it almost like an ultra topping method? lol

3. do those clones look ok? dipped in clone gel, yet is the first 5 min after placing in rockwool.

your cuttings and the mom will be fine,BTW if it happens again a tooth pick and some tape will save your top if it is still attached

If you put it in water the a cutting can last 4 or 5 days before you gel it. This is maybe 50/50. Some cuttings make it, some don't.

Your plant should continue to grow, exactly like you said, super topping. Just give her some time to recoop.

The clones look alright. Time will tell. They are going to wilt. Don't freak out when it happens. Just keep them humid and warm and give them time.

Ok and one of the clones is the "TOP" of the mother (the one to the far left(or bottom) and did drop them in cold water "water which run off from plant which is nute water (N)" so they should be fine, but was wondering if that "TOP" will grow say faster/bigger/stronger? Thanks.


Anyone know how good K2 comes out? Any pictures would be sick?

I've tried "top" cloning before and haven't ever had one root. Dunno why, I'm sure it's possible, but all my other clones root except tops.

Always worth a shot though.

Tops do not root as well as side branches - something to do with the hormone distribution in the plant.

Can you cut your mothers lower branches and keep her strong to grow more clones? Also, How tall should the mother be before cutting?
