I cannot say the origin. The GC is one of only 3-4 strains I have had that didn't come from my own beans from Attitude. It was a clone from a buddy. I'm sure he's not sure of the genetics either lol.

I've tried four strains so far, running into problems becoming "wired" instead of sleepy (using for chronic insomnia). Sometimes the edibles (which have mixes in them), work better for me. Sometimes, just the cheap stuff is ok.

Plushberry
Sour Diesel
(Waiting to try Pineapple xpress)

Try a nice pure indica or indica Dominant hybrid blueberry, blue cheese, grape ape, blue dream pineapple is a sativa in fact it pumped me up so much that's what I have before a workout or sour great energy high but an indica will give you good sleep and restful mind I recommend blue cheese a nice blend and smooth you'll sleep very well 😄

agreed with jp^^^^ your growing sativas which is exactly what you don't want for sleep issues. A heavy indica would work alot better. Herijuanna is a good one but there's lots of others. I would definitely stay away from sativas and even most hybrids if your wanting sleep.

I would expect edibles to be better for insomnia. More of a body effect than inhaling. Concentrates might be worth investigating.

You'd probably want to look at heavy indica dom strains - Master Kush or the pre-98 Bubba. Or maybe pure indicas like Deep Chunk or X18 from Tom Hill, if you can still find them.

Last time I had green c it had more earthy flavor to it but great high similar to pinapple but I found good creativity from it good thinking strain more so then just all out energy and euphoria but it doesn't lack that either

Thanks for the suggestion. The dispensary keeps pushing King Kush on me, which is ok, I guess. They just gave me a tester of olive oil/'wana tincture that is supposed to work wonders for pain. They keep telling me to try "Pineapple Time(something?) " but they don't have any yet. It's really a pain trying these out one at a time, but I just get it when I get my edibles. I go through about 1/8 per mo.

Yes, edibles work the best for sleep. No, I'm not growing -- dispensary is suggesting, and I'm trying. I came away with King Kush today; can't remember if I've had it before.

Heh running trainwreck too. Same source as my Green Crack, so I can't be certain of the genetics. However, I just transplanted to final pot a Humboldt Train Wreck that I started from a bean from Attitude. Very nice plant. A little over a foot tall, bushy.

Thanks. Actually, I took a dose of the oil (followed with rootbear) ... and it's worked well on the pain. Still a little uncomfortable, but not nearly as bad.
