Bonham is a free space, and LOL on Cameron's time signatures. You are confusing him for Phill Rudd from ACDC.Pearl jam fan here but Matt Cameron is in your top 5 all time? And bonham isnt? I'm stunned. Matt's with the band for the most part because he can play 3 hour shows 20 times a year for long tours year after year but he's about as creative as a rock. He's a machine, yes, but don't expect anything interesting from him. All his tempo is 4/4 and the rhythm never changes.
GASP! How dare you, sir?!Keith Moon & John Bonahm were both jokes
Ginger is a madman for sure! I saw that doc on him, too. Great stuff.Technically ginger baker was the best ever but people dont like bringing him up lol
Eric clapton laughs at bonham and moon compared to him on the documentary
How can you guys not have The Rev up there with the top 5? He out drums any of these guys if not is equal to them. Even mike portnoy said it. And he's a good talented man. Drummers mentioned are great. Some even beyond great, but don't tell me Jimmy isn't in the top 5. Travis barker? Come on, this thread should be called, drummers. Not top 5.
I see. Well The Rev is not here anymore, but his Drum talent is never forgotten. He's a beast and anyone who disagrees needs to hear the STST Album and also the WTF album, their early days.Check my list I didn't know his name but he's on there. These guys are old darts. John Bonham. Haha. Maybe 40 years ago.
Most these guys are half past dead. Haha
No, no confusion unfortunately. I've seen him too many times to count now with Pearl Jam and gotta say I'm a way bigger fan of Jack Irons and what he did with the band. No Code is def their most intricate percussion album. Most pj fans don't like him very much either. I do def think he's much better with soundgarden, but I don't like Chris Cornell too much so it's tough for me to like Cameron that much eitherBonham is a free space, and LOL on Cameron's time signatures. Well, I can't speak as to his contributions with PJ, (not a fan) but dude is amazing with SG. Their time signature switches are just crazy, and he has an uncanny ability to make odd time sound like straight time when he wants to..No, no confusion unfortunately.
