Sup riu!!

So i noticed that on my 2nd grow now that all of my top colas never seem to be as frosty as other bud sites
ive also noticed around week 5-7 when they start to get calyxes that the calyxes never seem to be frosty as much as lets say under those leaves ??!!

Im using roots organic soil with 5 gal pots 1000w light about 10-15 inches away from hood
using flora nova bloom

anyone else noticed this ?

Thanks alot?

Maybe the heat + light intensity is slowing the trich production up top.. what I always thought..

I too have noticed on some plants the Mid buds will be frostier than tops.. Which is why I do not TRIM, Shaded Buds are often frostier or just as frosty..
yep, i dont trim either. i did my first couple grows and on this current i decided id not cut any and see the outcome and so far i have more bud. the bottom 30% i would have cut is doing really, really well. so well in fact that several bottom branches (from bottom 2 inches of plant) look like main colas on a different plant. so i am going the bushy route from now on. :)

ya ur right bud ..i always noticed the ones shaded by the fans are frosty!! and i alwaYSSS notice plants that are NOT right under the hood are frostier then the ones that are like the ones in the corner that get no fan action or no direct under lighting get fat and frosty still with my 1000w

To be honest, no... my colas are equally frosty to the rest of the plant. BUT, the very top 1'' sometimes show some heat stress depending on how close they were. I've learned to rotate plants and minimize that now, put the biggest ones slightly to the side of the light, not directly under it.
