Topping plants...

just pluck off the top with your finger tips. Pretty easy actually don't read to much into it, i been doing it since i was 14.
 
im already thinking about next season lol my girl is looking so good and im very happy but there is some things im going to change up for next season and topping is deff one of them
 
You cut it with a clean blade. It's preferred that you do it above the true second node, which will give you 4 main colas. If you supercrop [google it] after that you can yield yourself a lot of green.
 
clean blade would be nice in a lab, but i've never lost to the old pinch method. Kinda reading to much into it. But i supercropped mine all year and topped them 4x with my dirty finger's.
 
oops, i topped a bud or two on this grow. it looks like its gonna 'clusterbud' now. i like to experiment... what should i expect to happen to the topped buds ? anyone?

.........................ezpz Schnipaneeziee!!! I am working on a few OG Kush Clones here......this is more fimming than strait topping, but I started these very young and have some good branching going on......all part of my eavi1 master plan to dominate the walls of my tent!!

topping is great but its all in what you want from your plant. mu current grow 1 plant topped once 1 twice and the one in my avi 3 times. 1 nice huge cola is something to behold though. your choice. goodluck
 
I may be late but a lot people have this misconception that if you have more than 1 cola you will get more bud. This is wrong topping and lst are just techniques of growing that maximize your grow according to your setup.

If you have a weak HPS or are doing a cfl grow more than one cola would be helpful, but otherwise you will still get the same amount with one main cola minus the shock of topping.

those are also indoor setups, u can dramatically icrease ur yeild useing these techniques outdoor
 
i got some beasts from topping and super cropping, have some that i didn't touch and i will yield 3x off of the topped ones.
