topping VS FIM VS lollipop

so yeah basically im just not sure what i should go with, FIM sounds good, but i dont really get the lollipop concept, what are the pros and cons to both? im currently growing some jillybean

It varys strain to strain. I do all three in my room, some strains need lollipoping , and some need topping, and some just need a pinch here and there.

and is it bad to just let the plant grow out normally or what kind of trimming should i do?

not bad to let it grow normally but by topping it gives the lower growth time to catch up rather than being to far away from the light to produce properly fim accomplishes the same thing by letting the lower growth grow up. loli poping is best for intense planting like sea of grean
