Topping

I'm wondering how long after topping or fimming do you have to wait before flipping into flower?
I've got 6 plants, all from seed. They're pretty squat ... under Timber LEDs.
Topped them a week ago tomorrow. I like where they are as far even height.
Need to sex them and keep them under 6 feet.
3 Tangie and 3 Rainbow.

If growth hasn't slowed... it's not recovering from shock. Do what feels right and makes sense for every situation. There's never a set way or time, too many variables. Unless same strain, same environment, etc.

Im not sure what shock or recovery time ppl speak of..this plant is super resiliant. I will transplant, lst, top and lollipop all at once . This plant never misses a beat when you are training it. Unless...its really deficiant and sickly..then it cannot take it.

plants arent shocked when topped, they respond as if they're being eaten, or without more ceiling to grow, so growth hormones cause more growth beneath that top for survival, seed production, more flowers. I have to top in veg until spaces open in flower, otherwise I'd have three foot plants in veg sometimes, too big for me.

I flower the same day I top sometimes, or not, makes no difference to my yield. What does make a difference though is longer veg time, before or after topping, longer veg time= more budding sites= more buds.
