Ya it may be confused but I'm serious when I say it is growing faster, I think I have a clone of the same strain around the same size that I will try and take pictures along with this to compare growth.

And I've only found a couple other threads with topsy turveys, and who cares dude, really? I did it to make my space more efficient because my flower room is full and I can hang it on the side to use the light that hits the wall.

You seem to be the only one bored by it so go find a more exciting thread.

sup man nice thread i will follow. will you post pictures compared to other plants along the way up to harvest?
Read above reply :bigjoint:

uhhh i think you should save up for a 1000 watt hps instead of wasting money on pieces of shit.
Ya and I don't have a 1000w hps already in my 1400w PERPETUAL GROW. What was the point of your post?

Plus it was 10 bucks.:finger:

I will post update an update tomorro, Yes I found a candidate to do a side by side comparison along in veg and in flower!

im glad someone has done a thread on this topic. Ive been thinking since i saw that damn topsy turvey on Tv that it would be perfect for me. Just give me your opinion guys.

Guerilla Growing in the woods. Camoflauge the topsy turvey itself with vines or whatever matches the vegatation. Kind of like a Topsy Turvey Guilley suite.

Put that fucker in a tree or matching vegeation and no one will know.

As far as i would do it:

Half the pot would be a normal mix of perlite, and MG soil (time release nutes would be easier to maintain when visiting a crop not often)
Other top half would be perlite, vermiculite for water retaining since you might worry about roots getting enough water.

The reason i think this would be perfect for guerilla Because these things are made for outdoor. I dont think the design is well suited for indoor. But i could be proven wrong. Though i will say that your plant is turning out nice for as young as it is. but i will be trying this and make a thread about it in a few months

Thats a good idea! You could have them super stealth up in the tree (be hard as hell to water tho). The only thing about having it inside is I can kind of train mine down or any way I want because marijuana plants won't grow down like a tomato so you need to grow yours out a little upright first so they will grow out and around and who knows how tall, lol. Actually it would be a good for camoflouging it and also would look cool! I'd definitely would like you to try, post link here if you do!

Someone who hates their life ? Unfaithful spouse? Premature ejaculation? The list is endless.

On a another note, i find that a 5 gallon bucket with a hole drilled in it about 2'' in diamater works just as well as the overpriced topsy turvey

I actually saw some of these in the thread with the grow in the trailer sittin in the driveway. Definitely gonna make some of these since I have a bunch of buckets sitting around!

cool thread i got a couple of these i tried tomatoes outside and if you live where there is wind alot it just blows them back and forth and cuts the stalk off on the plastic collar the plant goes through i mite try one inside like this though i like the idea of waiting all the tops down i wonder if you could put a hid light in a sealed hood with a good fan under it if it woulld grow to it ?

if its a sharp edge on the collar that cuts the plants stems then why not hit up your local hardware or car accessory place and get some rubber vacuum or fuel hose, put a slit along it and line the edge with it... shoult soften up the edge nicely...

a quick question, are you rotating the plant so all sides get even light? because if all colas grow around the sides of the pot evenly then you could possibly have multiple evenly sized colas rather than one main cola couldnt you? this also gives my the idea that i wonder what would happen if you tipped or FIM'd the plant and trained the new colas aroundthe pot evenly...

Bad ass, I am doing a similar experiment with some new brand of LEDs, but not with the turvy...yet. I got people hating left and right, criticizing and all that bullshit. I am going to suscribe to your thread, and I just cut some clones, so fuckit, I am going to give it a shot on my next indoor grow. I got a few clones rooting up right now, so I think I will give it a shot as well, and do a side by side comparison with my LEDs. They seem to be kicking ass so far!!! Keep it up!!!
