they are super easy rules to follow. you can easily grow 2 plants indoors. if the weather he claims ruined his crop hes a terrible farmer. just because he's poor doesn't mean he can break the law. imho it would have been simpler to just grow 2 inside. he's lucky he wasn't robbed on the third round.

and im sure he had help your just using a disabled person to push your agenda of legalization.

Simpler for you and me because we have the means and space to do so. Not everyone can be an expert farmer I certainly am not

I’m not trying to push anything but this story. We had a discussion and, as in many conversations about weed, legalization came up. Prohibition never worked. Maybe you think it gives you some safety from the big bad corporations but if Monsanto wanted it legal it would be, yesterday.

so he didn't have the means to apply for a caregiver ? come on its not hard there are people who help disabled people with growing thats not excuse to go and grow more because you assume you will lose some. if that's the case someone could have helped him build a small structure. I have a few friends who are disabled and get by just fine just requires modifying your grow . I doubt he was alone in his farming I doubt he planted them all. he had help. no pity from me.

Medical cannabis is not cheap in Vermont, as stated in the article. If I was disabled I’d like to be able to at least provide something for myself, wouldn’t you? I’m not sure this discussion is going anywhere. I feel for the guy, you don’t, ‘nuff said.

its his own fault 2 plants don't last. if he was smart he would harvest indoors multiple times per year. your right I don't feel bad for idiots. and the prices aren't that bad, grams as low as 10$ at some shops i know this because i was a vermont resident and medical patient. it's a very simple non restricted set up. if he wanted he could build a system that works for him, plus he probably get electric rebates so yeah...easy peasy. don't be stupid

I would rather be stupid and kind than brilliant and unkind. I’ve never been a patient, thankfully, I get to use weed for fun. I hope your condition isn’t serious. I really feel for all the people who had to make it through prohibition with a condition where they needed marijuana for comfort and it was illegal for them to medicate. I was just breaking the law for a good time. I think about that a lot. Best wishes to you and yours for thanksgiving. I know we don’t agree on this. Hopefully we will find common ground in the future.
