"Just doing my job" is actually a completely legitimate excuse, hence why they didn't prosecute Nazis who didn't conduct themselves with cruelty and malevolence.

So if I paid Uncle Buck $14 to go shit on a restroom floor, and he did while smiling contentedly, he would bear no responsibility for the mess?

Did he sign up for the job before the order was issued and was likely to be killed/imprisoned if he didn't carry out the new orders?

That's the difference, as an example; most rank and file Nazis signed up before they knew the full range of Hitler's cruelty and if they refused to carry out orders or tried to leave they and their families would suffer the penalties instead.

Hitler was immensely cruel and evil, but he was a genius the way he methodically and absolutely "locked down" Germany and it's people before revealing his true plans.

So if I threatened to take $14 from Uncle Buck if he didn't shit on a floor, his shitting on a floor is now excusable, because of my threat ?

Sounds like another instance where government's unintended consequences cause death and mayhem.

Perhaps you misinterpreted my meaning, Numbnuts. When I asked Uncle Baldrick who was responsible for Ike's brother it was a rhetorical question. Ike's brother was guilty of being a thug. "Just doing my job" is a cop out.

You're still losing.
i guess you are OK with concentration camps as long as your klan-endorsed hero twump is running them

No. Sadly it is not. Didja know that the typical Japanese American farmer had a productivity more than three times higher than their American neighbor's farms at the time of People Harbor? We could have learned from them but it seemed so much better to just force them off their land and arrange for the land to be sold at a steep discount to one of your relatives. Fun fact, Ike's brother ran the program. Not that he was necessarily responsible.
Why do we presently dock them sat points for college?

Nazis were drafted and the penalty for refusing was work camp or death, no?
