Transplant??

I'm pretty sure my plants need transplanting. I planted my seeds in soil in a jiffy pot and then put the jiffy pots into a larger pot (thinkin it would be big enough) with clay pellets and perlite. Now they need to be transplanted but surely the pellets and perlite will move and damage the roots.

Any suggestions???

What is the material of the pot made out of?

Are you handwatering that clay/perlite mix ? That must be annoying.

There are several methods of transplanting without shocking too much, that medium will indeed shock your plants if you try to flip it upside down. I would hope your pot is somewhat disposable. i would then cut the bottom off and carefully remove it out of the hole you're transplanting in. OR just cut the bottom off, and set it on the top of another pot, this is called double potting.

well i kindda mucked about trying different things and put a wick in there but didnt have enough height for the reservoir so just put the pots on a tray instead as a reservoir. Works well tho.

Double potting i've heard of but haven't the height. The other idea, is that to just cut the bottom off the pots and let the clay/perlite fall out and then repot

sounds like your ticket man, i hope it turns out well for you. the one mistake you don't have a large luxury of in hydro is to use too small containers.
